5800 has poor n fully faltu headphone sound quality, just like a normal mp3 nokia set.. dont hav a XpressMusic quality.. N81 is da best 4 music..

i work in the carphonewarehouse and weve jut recieved delivery of this immense phone i highly recommend it compared to the iphone!! and at a small price of £15 100 mins unltd txts 24mnth contract u cnt go wrong! once again nokia have done it

Hi all.
I bought this phone from Muscut. Made in Hungery. When i touch "BACK" (In Menu or contacts or anywhere) to go back the phone responds wrongly. I feel some touching area of My phone (lower right side-- of about 0.25 inch) is not responding.
I'M REALLY SHOCKED.

IS far Better than any windows based mobile i have seen.The interface is refreshing and touchscreen is amazing.

Hi, This phone is not available in black color. No doubts that speakers and screen resolution is great.

Camera is the worst I have ever used in my entire life.to much of grainy images.
The music quality is just good.Built is not good.
earphones are below average.
Touch screen is awesome and works great.

I agree. But keep in mind that the pixels alloud you to zoom more or les, you can print a bigger or smaller picture: but it dont implicate a better picture definition

If you were to just view the picture on your phone then it's hard to tell the diff between a 3.2mp and a 8mp because of the small screen resolution.
But if you blow the picture up. Thats when you notice the diffenecene as the pixels are spread out across the whole size of the image. So this is definatley a big part of image quality.

Whath problem do U have with the camera of this incredible device. I use to have a P990i with a 2 MP camera and i can tell U that the pictures were great. Another example is teh OMNIA with its 5 MP camera. One friend of mine and the pictures taken with it were so poor. What really matters is the lens quality, not how many pixels the camera have

i just dont understand..... as i said i got it on monday(greece) and havent left alone for a moment. installed apps, themes, games from different sites and it works just fine. just a few very minor bugs sometimes. i think its great. and personally i think its better than windows mobiles. i feel that it was well worth the cost (350euro) and i got it blue and it was updated with the last firmware. o, and no earpiece issue either...
whoever wants to buy it go out and buy it. i had my doubts reading these posts before i bought it. but im very happy with my device. as i said NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!

Thus making it an all-round performer. It should excell at nearly every function. Fact: It doesn't. Although Safari is amazing, the best browser around (until Firefox is released). And to be fair iphone specialize in sound quality, ever heard of an ipod!! The iphone uses adapted technology from the ipod. Now this does bring convincingly good sound reproduction (one of the best in a phone), although there's a catch if you're going to playback through the inbulit speaker, as the sound volume is very very low. Not good enough i'm afraid Apple. Maybe this is because you can't replace the iphone with a new battery, therefore loud sound levels would drain battery levels on a long term basis also.
Fact is the 5800 in built stereo speakers are seriously brilliant. They are loud, crisp and packed with bass response. And in STEREO!!
This is an amazing mid-range phone. And if you haven't got the money to fork out for a top of the line handset and want a phone with alot of functions then definatley consider this phone. (please stay away from LG mid-rangers, you will only be dissapointed when you try this phone)
CPW employee mentioned the lag in certain menu's. This does occur, but which touch screen doesn't, apart from the iphone. I was actually quite impressed by the fluidity of the UI. Multi-tasking may cause lagg, as it doesn't have a particulary fast processer. Maybe he was multi-tasking alot.
I work for carphone aswell, and i don't agree whatsoever with his statement of save your money and time and leave this alone.
If your looking for a top of the range handset, then yeah this isn't the one for you. But otherwise, read into it more, go and play around with one in store, i think you'll be impressed

this phone comes with 3 different colors which are : blue ,red and grey..this phone is destinated for music lovers only..it has the greatest sound ever made by nokia(inner and outer)...simply its awsome!!!keep going nokia u are the best geniun company!!

I Have This Phone And Its AMAAZING, I Had The N82 But This one Is Much Better, Everything is Amazing!
