does this phone read PDF? can it save .doc, ppt., at al in it? can it view the files latter mentioned? PLease reply... i tried getting PDF from my friends using bluetooth but my phone will just sa " file not supported "... please tell me what to do ....

Hello. I got my Nokia 5800 last January 17, 2009 at Nokia Center in Alabang. The Phones software is good and the touchscreen response is nice. I just had a battery issue after 2 days but Nokia replaced it No Questions Asked. Hands off to that. In terms of features, it is quite impressive especially for an XpressMusic phone. The phone can last for 3 days with normal usage. I just hope they can improve the camera feature for being quite grainy in poor lighting conditions. But overall I Love this Phone. Thanks.

hey, if your phone is hang when u use message or something. change the memory to 4GB and make software update. no more hang ! good luck

DO'NT PURCHASE. THIS IS MOST POOR CREATION BY NOKIA
i purchase this phone on 21-1-09 from my friend who owned a mobile shop he give me in Rs19000/- he also told that dealer price is 18850/-. but if u want to buy drop this idea because day after purchase i was at nokia service center for serious problem that it not auto update date and time every time i restart phone. service also unabel to solve problem by upgrading its software now that is in replacement process and till today i not get that. i notice one more problem that its connectivity with computer is also very bad beause before giving it to service center a want to take phone book backup sevral times but not get sucsess.

Dude always try to buy Finland made nokias. And make sure to play with the phone before buying. @ charith. Where did u buy ur 5800?

I bought this from Colombo, Sri Lanka 3 days ago. Didnt find any issue with the ear piece or the headset/handsfree. They work perfectly.
Everything is fine except this terrible issue of stucking the keyboard. When the keyboard is activated (either one, fully qwerty, mini qwerty or hand writing) most of the occasions, the phone stucks. Nothing works beyond that point untill i remove the battery. No way to reset by pressing anything. This is very annoying.
I will be taking the device back to the retailer today and seek a solution. I wonder that i didnt came across anything related to such issue on anywhere on the web.
Does anyone has any idea?
The phone is made in China though.

Hey actually i bought ths ph in dubai..presently m in india so whenever i try to update using software updater it vl say's there is no firmware...m using Airtel network..n my ph's software version is 10.

well well well,i bought already this phone.the features is good,also the sounds.if you have problem with the phone try to solve it with yourself.dont write any rubbish comments with the 5800XM.for my phone so far so good and its firmware is 11.my phone made in china red one.thanks!
