After using for about a week..i am gonna comment on dis.
For me dis is not da perfect set! yes its not. i waz so so xcited bout it..bt after using for about a week i hav come into a conclusion dat i shud hav bought N79. da fact iz itz not a bad cell phone at all. bt as far as i am concern i used to chat a lot..n i am so comfortable wid da typical numeric keypad.thogh it has a numeric keypad input bt i still mis da feedbak of a physical keyboard. i cnt typ so fast lyk b4 wid it. may b touch phone is not for me!
But other than that itz a grt phone.for all da touch lovers dis iz such a good package. Muzik iz awesum as evrybody said..
so many features..
touch UI is good bt cud b btr..
camera good at daylight..bt too much noisy at indoor..many cud say well itz a Xpress Muzik phone datz y..bt i still disagree wid da camera performance.atleast a decent performance shud hav xceptd...
build quality iz ok..sum say itz lyk a plastic toy..i hav doubt about thr sense.
gr8 vedio xperience..really njoy to watch ne video in it...itz huge man!
no EARPIECE problem at all..it da bst infact.
more 3rd party appz wil b available soon as they r launchin n97 wid da same OS.
wat else?? evrything iz good bt dat damn thing i cnt typ fast wid it while chatting wid da virtual keypad..wheathr itz QWERTY or Alphanumeric..i am best wid da typical Numeric keyboard.
may b sum of u hav difrnt xperience wid dis virtual keyboard..bt dis iz wat my xperience wid it.

hi felows. Its been 2 weeks nw since m usng 5800. I realy lyk it. Bt hopng 2 gt help from you people on the following.plz help me . i need to know if software newer than v11.0.008 is available... Are there any other themes available or not.... one more things the softwares downloaded from the download application do not get installed rather it shows expired certificate.and is there any one who can guide me how to set mail box. Thanks alot.. Plz fellows i really need help....

Is it normal for a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music to have such a lousy quality of filming at night ??? I compared my 5800 with a N82 and the movie quality is much better on N82. :( Is it possible to update the software to enhance the video quality in Nokia 5800 ? Or maybe is my handset's fault ?

secondly, ... morewell if ur profile is silent thaen that automatically turns off the shutter sound!
and sorry i don't know much about ur other problems so i can't help u with that!

And if u want awesome net xperience,super keyboard, head turning 3.2inch widescreen resolutioned touchscreen,the best music quality with way better battery life,an awesome and complete retail pack,then go for5800. But i must warn u the cam of 5800sux nig tym,and there are very few softwares available for this yet. And is way better looking than one of nokia's ugliest set n82. But 82 will give u awesome gaming quality as it is 1 of the only 4sets of nokia which has graphics accelerator. The choice is upto u. N82 isn alrounder,but 5800speacializes is net,music,msgin,batterylife,movies,style and wraps everything upwith the latest technology and awesome looks.

secondly, i got some prob with the screen. the color of the button keep changing.
and sometimes when i put my phone verticallly the display shows horizontally. i keep shaking the phone keep knocking only the display turns normal

people are complaning about the bugs of the 5800. i am sure nokia is aware of those problems and fixing them.

symbian smartphones do offer alot more...such as the n96 which you can watch tv.

John, 25 Jan 2009I am Nokia Lover and Currently owen 3 Nokia Phone 5800, N79... moreim sure third party applications will be available for the 5800 in the future...wait and just see. iphone offers more..media yes, but not functionality.
