Its just a great phone BUT Headphone sound quality and level are disappointed I've had a 5310 before 5800 and 5310 headphones sound quality and level was much better even when using same headphones with both...hope that Nokia Technical team is working on enhancing its headphones sound..please advice if anyone have an idea :(

You should contact Nokia service if speaker volume goes up and down while calling. They will replace a speaker to your phone. Takes 5 mins to replace the speaker. No costs.

and if u press the cell tightly towards ur ear the volume decreases and sometimes vanishes..!
right ?

i came across to the problem that while calling from 5800 to eny other mobile or landline the volume of handset speaker is very low if i press phone towards my ear tighly.. while keepin it loose near ear the volume is normal....why is it so ???

The best nokia hp i ever have..cool feature..wow!!i like it and also its better than Iphone 3g,and its cheaper too.just bought 3 day ago,i delighted..Bought it for US$400 only..believe me,its worth it.

1 question to ask
is 5800 speaker for calling sounds very small?
coz i think my 5800 sounds very small when i was having a call
eventhough i had maximized it's volume
anyone can help me?

I am still confused about Nokia’s music (sound clarity) quality. None of the Nokia handset could impress me compare with SonyEricsson in terms of sound. More over shot existence of it’s battery (charge) is another big problem of Nokia compare with SE. However hope for the best! I always say No to No.Kia. But I want to give them a chance by spoil of my money because SE video recording option is shocking me a lot. I had a big expectation to X1 because it records VGA@30 fps. Can you believe it at 3gp (outdated) format? SE just can’t understand buyers’ insight.

hi guys nokia 5800 music xpress also known as tube is the best touchscreen phone i have used.. it has every thing ranging from various cool apps, games, user interface, multimedia. if u have iphone 3g ,,,,,,,,just try this one out it is far far better than iphone. nokia 5800 has every thing u need . but if u wanna go ahead for new models just look out for announced but not released nokia n97

iv just got back from hong kong and i bought myself a 5800 because it wasnt out in south africa and i gota say dat da phone is great.havnt had a single prob wid it yet.
