I'm sure the good outweighs the bad for this phone but i was just wandering...what are the negative issues with this phone? In order to do an effective judgment, the negative issues of the phone has to be considered as well..so, please fill me in...Thanks.

i have one Q for you ,how to have hard res... moreLike I wrote a few days before (2008-12-28 11:27) - there is no way (as I know) for hard reset the 5800 (there are no necessary buttons for that - "green" + "3" + "*"), so only way to hard reset is to flash bricked phone.
You can simply search Google for this statement: "Flashing your Bricked/Dead Nokia 5800 phone - Hard Reset Your 5800". There on first line will be a link to: dailymobile.se/forum/nokia/flashing-your-brickeddead-phone/
Alternatively you can search google for the necessary software: "Phoenix2008patched.exe" and firmware "Nokia 5800 RM-356 EMEA firmware".
Then you can flash your phone to debrick it.

Andy, 29 Dec 2008Can any one tell me how the mobile is, does it work fineHi Anew, I have had the Nokia 5800 for 3 weeks now and i can tell you that i practically haven't put the mobile down from not using it and it works perfectly the handset i have. It has had not one single issue at all. That's my experience with this model, not one regret at all buying it and ditching my iphone 3g for it. Cheers Craig

I've installed a couple on my Nokia 5800 and they worked perfectly. As for gps, yes you have to pay for a licence for a selected term, like 7, 14, 30 days, 12 or 24 months. Cheers Craig
