da mobile was launched in the market previous saturday[20/12/2008] da price at axioum is 1700sr and at i2 da price is 1600sr.
just wait till january 1 and da price might most probably drop down to 1400sr

i have just booked my new nokia 5800...
feeling nervous.. thing which i noticed during the hands on the demo piece.. it was it take 2-3 secs to come back to home page from menu... for this 2-3 secs whole screen get black out..
i hope its not a serious problem for long time use

sam, 27 Dec 2008where is the keypad? can we get more pics of this phone?Hi Sam, it's a fully touch screen. It is not a slide therefore it doesn't slide out to reveal a keyboard like the soon to be released Nokia N97. When txting or dialling numbers or surfing the web your mobile will automatically bring up a touch screen keyboard to use. You have three types me keyboard use and hand recognition as well. sam, 27 Dec 2008where is the keypad? can we get more pics of this phone?it's not a slide, theirs no keyboard, it's a touchscreen phone, don't tell me you don't understand touchscreen?

janus, 27 Dec 2008thanks Craig, sry if im botherin u.i already gt tht bar ac... morehi Janus, oh i think your talking about the express bar. Where u see the writing on top of the mobile where they have the wording 'Xpressmusic' you will find a white light in a square with an arrow. Press this button and the menu will drop down for the quick menu bar. It will turn off if u don.t use it or if u press the light again it goes away. Cheers Craig

sry if im botherin u.i already gt tht bar acros da screen bt shouldnt it be vertical under da battery strenth.in tht sticker on phone it shows tht sum icons in a little bar verticaly.(music icon,flower,globe,pictuer icon etc.)and did u took ur stiker off and put another? cz ther s sum lines on tht stiker blokin da gr8 veiw. taknx in advance, keep up da gud work.u roks

chad, 24 Dec 2008it seems that many ppl have the problem of the ear speaker ... moreHi Chad, I'm using this phone now and facing the same problem now, the volume will go on and off but the volumn is max from what i can see... could it be something to do with the firmware or is it a hardware issue? Im not willing to surrender the phone back for servicing.....

By the way in all ways 5800 is better than iphone...it may not be the best phone but obviously better than crap iphone.

I have tried in the net and collected some games and themes for 5800. Hope it will be useful to you all.I will keep on updating the file. If anyone got some applications and games etc which is compatible and tested , then please post the link here.

I don't understand how the voting system on the left hand side of the home page has given this better marks than the iPhone. I am an a IPhone user and I could not live without it! The design and perform are way better than anything Nokia could EVER make!

New York's Nokia Flagship store is selling the Eu version 5800xm for 350USD, one of the sales said NAM expect to come out in March.
I am so sick of USA always try to reinvent the wheel to have its own standard of every system yet have extremely slow process in approval of everything.
