can any body tell me how secondry camera works or how to activate i tried but failed,even in the catalogue there is nothing abt secondry camera...need help from u ppl .will be very thankful to u ....

bought mine about 2 weeks ago. great music software with loud speakers (sometimes deafening). the full qwerty onscreen keyboard is a joy to use for texting and e-mailing. the included browser is also provide great internet experience, even better than opera mobile IMHO (I also installed opera mobile in the phone). overral satisfied with it, as it does excellent job for voice, texting, web browsing & music. my only gripe is the glossy screen is really a fingerprint magnet. have to clen mine more often than I like.

the camera is worst part, it's the worst 3mp cam phone, rathr that, everything's beautiful.

to the person who put down the blog about do the imei number & that the 7th & 8th number slowed where ur unit was made. That post now been removed. Anyhow's i did it and my model is a Dubai make, it was an 02. I don't think it would be every model that came from there. I've had mine for 2 weeks and no issues as yet. I'm on my mobile all day long surfing the web, listening to music, sending lolp of txt and making calls & not one issue. I believe makes a built all over from different factories however i don't beleive they reproduce all builds to behave the same with same faults and all. This info is good though. If i was having issues with mine i'd be the first one to voice my concerns to u fine people. I always stress to people on my blog that i'm making my comments based on my unit as thats all i can talk about. Cheers Craig. It's a very good model though, i like it very much :-).

in which a nokia "s60 touch UI" mobile has been showed but this mobile is different than 5800XP. but i like that one wawoo. Is that phone is going to announce by nokia???? Anyone of you all know what is the truth behind that... i am curious to know... if you know then plz guide me.. Thanks in advance

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2008Hej hej, I don't think you have ewer have nokia 5800 in to ... moreuhmmm... i didn't say it was heavier than the omnia and the iphone. i just said it was thick and heavy. and you're right, i filled it up with lots of music and images to test its capacity to handle all that data and, no surprise here, it disappointed me. it became laggy and hanged a lot. imho, if you stress that a phone can handle up to 8 or 16gb of data, it shouldn't compromise the speed of the phone.

You are absolutely lying because nokia 5800 is lighter than omnia and iphone, and it does not hang if you don't fill it up with thousands of photos and videos and other running background apps!

* Very Urgent *
Iv bought this phone abt 2 weeks back from Jumbo Electronics Dubai. It used to work fine but recently wen im on call sometimes the volume jus goes soo low u can barely hear anything later it comes back to normal
Has it happened to any of you? I have a 2 year warranty should i go and get another one?

i want to request to a person who has mensioned a way to check out that where our mobile has been assembled. i have my friend with me and i was going to show him that how can we check out and what IMIE 7th and 8th number mean but unluckly that method has been removed by............
i request to a preson who has given a way to check out, plz write it down again

got this phone. response time is very slow and synchronising takes forever. the touchscreen doesn't have the responsiveness i've been looking for. it shares the same flaw like my N95, it hangs frequently. for a supposed "music phone," it's speakers are not stereo. kinda disappointing if you ask me.
it's no iphone killer no doubt but nokia stressed this before it's released so it's pretty understandable but still, we can't help but compare. it's also very thick and kinda heavy. the only good thing i can think about this phone is that it has a 3.5 jacl and a miniusb hub. oh and yeah, the battery life is kinda good. the sip is also very finger friendly as well because of the large keys.
overall, i wasn't really satisfied with this phone and sold it in ebay the next day. symbian os really sucks. best phone i have so far is my samsung omnia. i'm originally a nokia user but have shifted to different brands when i noticed that their phones became very buggy and had a consistent lag. well, that's my two cents.

i bought about 4,5K in indonesia currency... Rp. 4.500.000,- it's hard to play the nokia music and ovi..take so long to sync..

Please try installing fring, cryptograf messaging 2.5 and yahoo mobile on this phone? I really need to make sure if these apps will be properly supported before buying. Thks
