It's an average looking phone, with a louzy OS and an average complex of features. The other very important disadvantages of this phone is that the OS often freezes or that the phone suddenly shuts down.
To be honest with you, this is the louziest phone i ever had. I'm so disappointed in Nokia! Don't buy Nokia 5800.

My Nokia 5800 came with the Ver. 21.00... and initially i do get 3.5 signals, but after upgrading to ver. 51.0007 [which is the latest firmware] i hardly get 3g signals again. please can someone come to my aid!!!!!!!

I have used many phones including 5800 and x6.i felt both these phones are the best among every one.x6 successor of 5800 have mind blowing capabilities than its predecessor.5mp carl zeiss lens,capacitive screen,huge 16,32 gb storage.etc.only disappointing is outdated os.but if we try to find a way to install new symbian anna os into these phones we are getting the best phones of 21st century.no other phones can compete with the sound clarity of these phones
