seriously it is taking me longer than usual in understanding what u are trying to say.
yes u can get a chinese fone for one fifth of the price. but u prolly wil get about 10% of what a real phone should be.
what has heppened to the N81 2GB is like u said. 81 2GB. not the 5800 xpressmusic. both are differnt phones. there upgrades in parts and firmware. so please dont mix a new phone with a old model. thx.
there are problems with inbuild as well. there are pple who prefered memory cards than inbuild. as there are advantages to it.

if nokia is immature. why are they producing some quality phones?

AllPrevious Xpress have failed basically plasticky appearance. Nokia should have introduced n Business catageory, back is hallow and resembles N81,with chrome paint outline camera. Flash same as N81 hopeless. it will peel after use and placing on flat surfaces. Xpress Music has cheap impression, you can get many Chinese cells with Touch feature same size even for 5th price. Executive cell has inbuilt mem than cards, reading by processor take a while. Inbuilt mem is pathetic received file 10mb will have to be received n phone then transferred to card, will have same problem as evident n n81 2gb.
Nokia is immature n touch its age has started now! must have width enlarged and icons too to give better interface look. New series tube or tseries intro now?

pepz, pls be guided that this phone cost only 270Euro, pre ordes sites usualy cost more than the market price.

mandeep, 09 Nov 2008is gps fuction needs 3g internetGPS function does not need 3G or GPRS or wLAN or any other data transfer. GPS receives signal from sattelite directly to telephone. A-GPS (assisted GPS) works if there is no signal from sattelite. In that case telephone will use a data transfer (GPRS, 3G...) and network od mobile provider anttenas to find a location.

Boys its just a touch screen one korean touch screens are best in business with or without 3g like viewty Ku990R and kg990 nokia has tried its way into touch era which future ll always follow like real time piezo electric crystal turned into an ultrasound probe and upcoming 4d very much transition, i ll wait for while playing with my e66 and 990R and then check this piece after 1st update remember that is the real transition which comes to remove big bugs

(I could not copy & paste the link because I posted this comment from my 5700). Bear in mind that those photos were probably taken with a prototype version of the 5800 so expect more out of the camera when you get your 5800. As for me, am still deciding which will be my next phone. If I was bill gates I would buy both 5800 & n82 but am in high school & am unemployed so I got to choose. I might go for the 5800 to entertain my boring life. (My life gets bored when my 5700's battery dies). 5800 has a better battery life! Cool!

it look like this phone isn't going to bo cheap as everyone thinks it would be. too bad
