It means it will be released in the fourth quarter of that year. Though this isnt true since its beeing released in Q1 of 2009. Atleast in northern europe...

This phone will be out in the second week of november.... in India, particularly in ahmedabad....

The said price on the website is not final and subject to change. That's just the price that they estimate it to cost and most likely the price will be less than what they have listed. I've seen it happen many times.

xperia is meant for business and the 5800 is for multimedia purposes..personally i would go for the 5800 without any doubts

FREE with contract later on look very sleek, good specs seem like a best touch phone for now.

The processor isnt slow. Symbian phones with 369mhz processors have a blazing fast UI. You wont find anything faster. And for memory, phones with large memory tend to go slow when it fills up. Thats why 5800xm comes with an 8gb card.

but the drawbacks:
stylus for me are thing is the past (for petes sake!)
poor internal memory (mmc's make the fone go slower)
but still, compaired to iphones 2mp cam??? c'mon guys, we'd rather stick w/ 3mp. right?
i'll just buy a 32gb 2nd gen itouch than 5800 than to have an iphone..its much cheaper and dependable.

think iam going to give this one a miss. Mainly due to the poor 3mp camera. Slow processor, pants internal storage memory and of course symbian signed.
Problem with nokia is none of there os are backwards compaterble.

ok now listen ......the 5800 wont be out so fast ....Russia is the 1st country to get it ...n den Indonesia,The United Arab Emirates, HongKong, Taiwan and Spain by year end..n d others will get it in 09.......if ppl are selling 5800 it will be fake so dont buy it

so this phone is smaller than iphone 3g, screen slightly less in width but higher in resolution, battery better, and s60 symbian u have far more apps, audio should be superb, cam seems very good,,and price is almost half that of iphone!! i only wish it had a navigation key (i won't ask for a slipping key board here, as u shouldn't demand so much for 300 euros!),, so i hope the touch screen is user friendly like that of iphone ( i had always my trust in nokia! ) and this baby should be mine next year!
