i saw the backward capability of this phone for symbian S60 3rd edition application in YOU TUBE. so that means will it also support S60 3rd edition games (sis).please reply

there are 4 ways of input methods for 5800.
1. handwriting recognition. (pardon the spelling if its wrong)
2. alpha-numeric on screen keypad.
3. full screen QWERTY keyboard.
4. mini QWERTY keyboard.
u can use your fingers to touch the screen for the input.
so in a way, u can use it like the usual handphone when you type sms.

through headphones are just like any other musicphones with headphones. there are no special things about it. unless u are talking about 5.1 speaker system...

during the training. the trainer played a song from linking park on the 5800 using the integrated speakers. and the sound was so clear and loud, the trainer have to shout to continue his training while having the phone playing the music

the screen is sorta like a HD (nokia calls it NHD as it is not truely HD since the screen is not 42"). so in a way u are watching more or less like a movie screen.
and yes, i have tried the 5800. i was at the Nokia training and the "training sets" are really smooth in operation. multi-tasking is possible. according to the trainer, the training sets have not been charged since he left the office at finland. and its about 5-6 days.
constant trainings going on. so.. im guessing the battery life sld be acceptable. (well in a way. when a nokia phone can stay on for more than 3 days w/o charging, and with constant usage, i think its good already.)
IF the training sets can be that well done. the sets made for the market will i guess be MUCH better.
it will be another 2-3 weeks before 5800 hits the shelf. but anything before that, we will have to wait.

Anonymous, 31 Oct 2008I dont buy this nokia phone coz the nokia battery is very ... morei'm not sure about the batt life. as since some nokia models do have screens that drains battery life like water.
but wat i can assure is. the speakers are WAY better than what u will see in the market right now. i have not seen or heard any other phone with a better speaker atm.
it is LOUD and CLEAR. but like some phones which are just loud but not clear. u can hear the sound "cracking". but it does not happen on the 5800.
