The stylus is a secondary navigation option. Read the specifications and related news before posting. For all those asking about thd price its 279euros.

    lol! Is this all what nokia can do vs. iPhone, sorry I'm not really fun of using stick, not so handy. Best touch screen should be touch sensitive smooth movement and able to use only with one hand, like iphone.

                I phone would have the best if;
                3g was really like the others 3g. it's slow comparing to my N95.
                It does not support many languages.
                It's battery is not the best.
                It's camera is joke.
                It falls off my hand easly.

                Windows phones;
                they are not as fun as the I phone.
                They are difficult to operate.
                They still seem to be slow.
                They do best for real business and medical professionals.

                Nokia wins with this nice phone.
                they just neeed to improve the camera to 5 MP.
                make sure the battery last long.
                continue to support all the languages.
                add office document editer.
                right pricing.
                then it will be a real killler of I phone and windows. what do you all think?

                        and if i know Nokia too well, there is a N-series certainly in the pipeline on this technology by year end, maybe a 8mp camera phone.

                        Guys, for those of who have been waiting for an Communicator with touch screen, beware ... its finally coming your way in 2009.

                        Hmmm... suspiciously strange, just when SonyEricsson announces the end of its UIQ platform, there comes the birth of Nokia's touch screen!

                          great phone and good pricing! specs look awaesome and sufficient even for a business user. Do think you're going to get more N-series users switching to this, not sure what message is Nokia trying to drive home. Look on the bright side, its a win-win for all. We get a good featured phone for a reasonable price and Nokia gets to woo more market share too.

                            well great phone but i don't think it should be named 5000 series i think it was better if it was included with the N series.. since all 5000 series doesn't have this amout of top specifications(other than cam) it has stereo speakers but for a touch screen and this all specifications it's not for young ppl so y it should be Xpress music .. just an opinion and old ppl don't be sad:P

                                  I totally agree that symbian has won the battle over WM. I have so many WM phones, no one is better than N95 8gb and now the 5800 is coming! Will trade off all my WM for this touch baby

                                      nokia is way better than iphone and plus there is a 8gb microSD included free of cost.
                                      iphone sucks and i advise all iphones users to qwitch to nokia 5800 Xpress music

                                        What ever people might say about WinMob, I know, without a doubt, that Symbian is better. so much more reliable, steady...etc(though not so easily tweakable...)

                                        I can't wait to get my hands on this phone.
                                        some might say Nokia are just catching up, but hey, that's only on the touch screen side of stuff. Symbian have so much more to offer, and now that there's a Symbian Touchphone... man, it's gonna be too good...

                                        Only thing I'm not gonna like about this phone is its price tag... Symbian phones are always a little too pricy...
