why all of you keep on comparing this phone with iPhone? There is not even a single person who say that he / she has already bought this phone and give us some "real" review rather than just keep on blamming others. You are all just like kids who don't want to be beaten by other kids. Every single product has its own drawbacks, either Nokia or iPhone, face it, it's the fact. If u like 5800, then just wait and buy, the same goes to iPhone also. This is the place to see the review of Nokia 5800 so that it can help other people who wants to buy this product, not a place for comparing and flamming other products. CMIIW !!!

I think this phone is great and it is going to be an iphone killer. Its also great that you can use both stylus pen and your fingers because with the iphone you will always have a dirty screen but this phone will not. I have been waiting for this phone ever since i saw the film batman and i still cant wait for it to come out.

And I'm sure that the millions of ipod and iphone satisfied users would disagree with them as well =)
Use your common sense my dear. An overhyped product would not last. How long has the ipod and the iphone been out now? And they're obviously still selling. Those people lining up in Apple stores are real my dear. That is what you should believe in because that is the real thing, not what msn.com is telling you =)

A lot of you are saying that Nokia have done a "copycat" thing with this phone. Well I have an iPhone, and it's not all it's cracked up to be. I found this phone on here after I purchased my iPhone and boy did I get a bad feeling, I truly feel I have made a mistake in my choice of phones. I should have done my research a lot better than I did, and even though this phone is not available yet, I would have waited. I am a Nokia fan, out of the many Nokias I have had I couldn't fault one of them, and I have only had one other brand, other than my iPhone in 12 years. Don't judge phones before you use them and find out whether or not they work for you. You could make a huge mistake!! I hope that Nokia don't have a software problem with there 5800 XpressMusic, like the iPhone does and make you download new software to fix it!!! And that's hard to do without Broadband. They should have fixed them before they went out to be sold, coz I think that's just really SAD.
I may be selling my iPhone on Ebay and buying this one when it comes out. I can always trust a Nokia.

I have been a Nokia fan since 1998. and when i say that i was going to wait in line to get my hands on 5800. i sow that there its not going to be a T-Mobile 3G. i use Edge with E61i and its ki11ing me. so slow. so i'll have to get the ugly HTC G1. Good Luck Nokia.

Double tapping is imo extremely ridiculous. all TS phones open a program with only sigle tap. but this phone deviates the standard.But in a nutshell maybe because non-TS S60 apps work with navi-Dpad which requires two actions: selection and execution. in order to compensate with the input method, nokia UI designers has decided to implement double touching. but hopefully nokia can get rid of this idea sooner or later.
