varry, 26 Dec 2010hey guys, is there a diffrnce between updating or upgrading... morehi there, basicly updating the f/w is the same with upgrading. And u've done it right, in latest update it wouldn't cause u losing your data in ur phone. But for me i will do a master or deep reset everytime i upgrade the firmware. So i still need to backup my phone data,but if u don't want 2 do it then its ok. Well..im not an expert on this i just tell it based on my experience. If i missed something fell free to add, hope this help.

hey guys, is there a diffrnce between updating or upgrading my software and upgrading my firmware? Here's what i did: menu-settings-phone-phone mgmt- device updates-options-check 4 updates- update now.... But i didn't loose any of mx information. And i do notice some small differences. But then what did i do exactly? because i hear u guys talking about taking out mem card and loose info... And big diffrences. So how do i get what u guys did? Pls answer... I really dont know anything about this kinda stuff...

This Phone is Great, even though this is Nokia's First TouchScreen phone, still, it's very Dependable...Some say it has a lot of Advantages than iPhone...Nokia really made a superb phone that can beat any other touchscreen phone out there...thanks Nokia.

after owning this device for about 2 years now, it served me well!! each firmware was a joy, brought something new each time!! I always liked symbian!!! but if you are new to this OS, test it out somewhere!! my next phone will probably be the N8, or e7 (the price seems too high for that phone)

Im strongly say..
Dönt sell your 5800,coz that phone very amazing.n rarely if u found in 2011.
Keep our best phone,u cant see that phone in the future..
5800 vs X6
1.Screen resistive is friendly coz can be use by any stylus,capacitive limit.
2.Tv out cable got 5800,x6 not!
3.chip hifi surround sound was included in 5800.x6 not have,,
4.memory can be upgrade to 32Gb max.for 5800.x6 cant use memory n cant copy paste memory!
5.5800 hw same like as n97 mini,n now got c6 homescreen widget like n97 by cfw pnht.X6 not supported,n used a oldest homescreen!
6.5800 got standing n long Usb cable,x6 didnt got that,n short usb cble.
7.disadvantage camera 5800 was fixed by upgrade firmware.n Cfw c6. So camera quality is same like 5mpx.
Overall..
5800
is the God Of Music,rarely,Amazing,rich retail package,entertaining like n8.

hold green call button,then hold the red end call button, and hold the camera shutter button.
while holding those 3 buttons, turn on your mobile phone.
don't release those three buttons until you see the shaking hands with the nokia name.
NOTE: this will format all your phone memory
