Hello i am having serious trouble with the battery life!!!!!!!!!! this is soo annoying any1s got ny suggestions other than buying a new battery???????

If you are using Nokia 5800 with C6 CFW (Which im also using too) your battery lasts upto 2 days (48 hrs +)...
And there is genuine reason for that, people who are using C6 CFW are already appreciating the UI performance(specially photo viewing for me) ,which is greatly improved because of 434 Mhz processor...Nokia has desined C6/n97 FW's to use full potential of their CPU's...
And at the other hand in Nokia 5800's original FW CPU power was cut to almost 50% to save battery...thats why somethimes device used to get auto restart coz it couldn't able to handle the pressure...

Helo friends
My 5800 have major problum that is my phone restart many time in a day and many times switch off automataicily after update v51 this problum come many time what i do.i use without memory card many days and hard formet many times but my phone allways do this problum.my phone is in warranty period.
Plz help

jack, 21 Sep 2010i have bought an old one five days ago and update its softw... moremaybe your batt is an old batt..change to a new one (original is always good. hard reset the phone n reformat the memcard. tansfer your data bit by bit (music, photo, files etc) to much data transfer at one go will burden the phone processor thus making to be slow

Guys I am an owner of this phone and I had two complaints against it. 1) Slow interface 2) Poor battery.
I am happy to say that the slow interface problem has been solved by the Pnht guys whom I thank wholeheartedly for creating the c6 firmware for 5800. With this firmware interface is really fast and also looks beautiful which is an added bonus. I also hate the nokia guys who could have improved 5800 but they did'nt and made everybody to believe that 5800 is a slow phone, but it is actually not and I ask all 5800 owners to update to the c6 firmware because it is a must update, with this update the phone is entirely different and beautiful. I love my 5800 again.
2) About the battery I hope that nokia releases a new battery for 5800 which is better and compatible with 5800. With good battery life I will never want to change my 5800 again.

neha, 20 Sep 2010I am getting horizontal lines all over the screen when i un... moreyour screen is damage, i also faced the same problem, replace it with nokia care free of cost if your phone is in warranty period, otherwise it cost around Rs.2200 for 5800 screen.

c6 firmware by pnht...is fusion of c6 n 5800....
so all might be works well...only different if you charge battery...green light will active..n if battery full...red light will on..
use n8 themes...your 5800 like symbian^3..after update c6 CFW..

i cant to learn all...coz very long time for understood...
you can use..c6 firmware...n back to fw 5800 v51 only...dont downgrade to v50 you will kill your phone...
first time i confused how to back 5800 original...
n i download NFE firware editor...you ust enter product code...n it automatic download with speed 78kb/s....only wait 30 minute...file size 80/140mb..
c6 firmware...very amazing...
n if you charging..with low battery...the green key..is on..and if battery fully...red will on...
homescreen...music..galery..web...n all...evolution to n97mini/c6....try this...but you must carefulll if try this...
download firmware c6 at symbianzone...ok thx...
