Hi ppl,
I noticed a problem with the BT in my 5800. I tried transfer a file frm my friend's cell phone, but it was tryin to transfer forver n never did the transfer happen...progress bar never went past the screen. Then jus out of curiosity i tried to transfer a file frm my 5800 to his', n the transfer went on....

More Software symbian nokia can see in all website in the world.never mobile phone gotta a amazing software,coz not support!haha,
But,i not like mobile phone non Os.

Samsung monte has no operating system. Samsung even don't release any firmwares and customer satisfaction is nothing for samsung once the products get sold. Nokia what if uses resistive touch. Its just as good as capacitive. Just we have to use double tap. Music in samsung is nothing in front of nokia xpressmusic. Camera has dvd quality in nokia. Pictures are great in sunlight. Softwares are numerous in nokia. Moreover we need smartphone and not a feature phone. I think you understand now.

can any one please tell me i had updated my firmware but now iam not able to lock my phone by a lock code can you please tell me what is a new lock code after updating a firmware to 51. i had tried a lot with 123456and 00000.help me out i am not able to lock my phone

why u r going for nokia touch phone,experience new samsung good touch in good price,go for samsung monte for similar features yo nokia 5800 in cheap price than nokia,

Danz, 10 Aug 2010Upgrade v51 is great! Fix some problem in v50. I think no... moreI think you are confused. The android 2.2 is just an firmware update to 2.1. The os is same thats android. Such updates you normally get on your 5800.But symbian^3 is different than symbian^1. So it can't be upgraded.

I think nokia will receive v.6x
Coz when v.20,21,30,31,
And now 40,50,51,?6x. Of course.
I hope v6x have n97 homescreen with widget,,and why symbian os cant be update sym^3,?
Android os can upgrade of v.2.1 to 2.2 froyo?why nokia...why only firmware,software?why not Os?

fone freek, 09 Aug 2010i badly want a new touch fone.n im decidin between a 5800 n... moreI have had this phone for 6 months now and my friend has the x6. It has been workin great especially with new firmware update. My friends x6 is good as well but he was complaining about usb transfer being slow. So personally i dont think its worth the extra cost for x6. Here in the USA, You can get the phone for $200-250 online off Amazon

The Mobile's speed Is fasten Up...
Touch Vibrations Are great...
Didn't Find Any Change In Browser Though i don't use it much...
overall not major but essential update from nokia from my point of view...

I have updated my Nokia 5800 through OTA today to V51.0.006.
Location : India,Maharahstra,Pune...These are
the Changes noticed by me uptill now...CHEERS

v51 2mb download via OTA AVAILABE. check via apps-software update..and start download. Scroll smooth and browser is smooth.no effect on phone speed i felt though..phone is gr8..got htc icon theme..now d home screen is replaced...ask for site if anyone wants wil reply.

i am using nokia 5800 from last 4 months. The hand set is excellent in most of it features but i am not satisfied with its camera. It is ok in sun light but very poor result in low light.
