My 5800 didnt last more than 6months? My LCD became funky and my phone only fell one. why does this happen?

Just keep the OS updated. I don't suppose apps will eat up your battery - unless they are actively using features like accelerometer, vibration, etc.

Had a wonderful time with the 5800 , now i want to upgrade. I listen to music so i need a lot of space, i browse the web frequently and i like to play quality games. Can anyone suggest me a phone meeting these requirements pls, thanks. Reply pls :)

Use a 3rd party task manager to switch \ close unwanted system apps. and if you don't have 3G then turn it off. Keep the brightness to min. level and vibrations and tones off. Don't shake your phone unnecessarily (as some apps need it!!) and charge it when the battery is fully empty. Don't switch off your phone each day. Instead keep it on offline. This will surely save a lot of power.!

I have this phone for 1 year now ...and is freat. U have free office soft on nokia site for all office formats and for pdf formats too .FREE GPS NO NEED ANY NET CONECTION after u download the maps.3 days on battery(30-60 min calls per day+ bluetooth headset,display brightness is on max).Phone is acting great when u use it sensors and i use then alot ,almoust any 5800 software use sensors.Alot of free software http://www.nokias60v5.com/ or 1001 other sites.Touch works perfect ,i never use the pen.
Camera is good but not great ,is a 3.2 normal camera .
For thouse they have problems :1)Calibrate your touch with your hand ,like u normal use it 2)update your software to latest version 3)dont recharge your phone over the night ,try removing him after he has full battery 4)Check if your phone theme is optimazed and let u use all function. I consider this phone a best buy becouse a 250 euro price with no operator connexion.
