Major pluese of V5.0 are
- Hanging problem is very rare now. i.e. improved a lot compared to V4.
- Touch screen sensitivity has increased a lot. i.e. no need even to put gentle pressure.
- Scrolling is improved a lot throughout. Kinetic scrolling in almost all menus makes life easy :-)

My Experience
Audio Loudness Extremely Low
Battery Lasts for only 1.5 - 2 days ... for simple usage i.e calls , music , messaging
Camera Sucks ... it's Lens JUST cant detect the right colours..... colours are very bad
also images are NOISY AS HELL
Earpiece Volume Is Extremely Low.... You Just Cant hear the other person outside your Home
Overall an extremely shitty phone
wish i wudve Bought Something Else :( :( :(

And that was the time they introduce the Navigation series. Since Nokia decided to have the Ovi Map for free, there is no difference now except for the color...

hello i'm from sri lanka..I've been using this phone for about 4 months now and this phone is great. But i have some questions..... 1- My current version is v40 and when i try to upgrade it to v50 from the nokia software updater, it says no new updates available. But about 2 months earlier i was able to update from v21 to v40. So why can't i update it in to v50? 2- Isn't there any music players with playing lyrics, available for this phone yet? 3-What are the video formats that can be played in this? And when converting videos to add in to the phone, what will be the best settings for that converting? Thank you!

This is a phone of hell. its giving me problems like you can't believe it iv taken it 5 times to nokia and my problem hasn't been solve please help me? (its frez in the morning when the alarm clocks rings and the pictures don't appear in the gallery)

I have a nokia 5800, gettin apps seem to be a task, especially useful apps...games are the worst Nokia has some horrid game unlike iphone. Anyone knows hwo or where to access good apps and games free????????

The phone should be able to find the nearest WiFi hotspot (and other hotspots, if available).
Select the hotspot and Connect..
There you go! You should be connected in WiFi. The built-in browser (or Skyfire/Opera Mini) should automatically connect to the WiFi.
BTW, I'm also a Pinoy, from Malolos City.

this phone is wifi ayt? then why can't I open a site? when i connect to a site...there's a message that says charges may apply. i don't get it...wifi is suppose to be free.
help pls!
