I recommend not to buy this phone. Main problem is it hangs intermittently (even after latest software update). I searched on internet for any solution. Noticed that this is a common problem and no permanent solution. Anybody has doubt, please google on "freezing problem of nokia 5800". You can find numerous complaints about the same problem. Should not have bought this if known before..

After the firmware update touch sensitivity is improved, no more hanging at all, camera is poor but ok in day time,music quality is awesome,good web browser, am using skyfire web browser for browsing, it player flash videos smoothly(depends on your connection), opera mobil is not loads pages as skyfire and also no flash support, operamini is very good, nice audio gallery and equalizer, battery is very good....no comments about loud speaker, build quality is not good cheap plastic is used, can break easily so handle with care, symbian ui is outdated now....have to improve,standby screen is not used correctly, this phone is overall good for basic touch screen users....worth of money, i have this phone from one year, i love this....:-)....

MONTY, 18 May 2010BT 5800 has poor camera quality? isn't?? many ppl says dat ... moreu cant everything the best in one gadjet. the best camera, the best mp3, the best web browser,the best touchscreen, best ui etc etc. when the manufacturer lump in one gadjet it is way too expensive till we cant afford it ha ha ha. n the manufacturer will nothing more to sell n there nothing for us to choose and buy.
so the best gadjet is within your budget,the one satisfied up to 70% of your need the rest be grateful for what it got. by the way n8 has a 12mp camera! price 370 euro. 3.5mp XM5800 190 euro. X2 5mp camera 90euro but got only keypad press
i listen my music on a sony walkman, only 3-4 in my XM cos it is for videovcamera,web browsing & phone calls & whatever it can do for the XM lovers.. cheers!!

the features i need r- best muzic quality, best camera quality, gud touch interface, big screen, wifi, best for gaming, high speed web browzing, support all apps, nt hanged too much, gud battery backup >>>> I'LL GO FOR 5800
BUT for better touchscreen ,high speed web browzing >>>>> i go for 5530
NOKIA C6 >>> i prefer to wait at least 6 months after launching THEN i'll compare it with N8

I have read so many reviews of 5800 . and many sites point out lack of divx and xvid support . But that is compensated by Real Media support which lg and Samsung like .
I download tv shows in Real Video format and can watch them on 5800 without any conversion as most of them are under 640 X 360.
