It's a great phone! I have it for about 2 mounts and I'm very satisfieded!

I have 5800 since 14 months, I update it from V21,v31,v40 to v50. no problem since. is geting better and better.

but once u have updated there is no way of downgrading.
i feel nokia are not done with the 5800 there might b something more to this phone :)

i have just puchased a nokia 5800 n i think its a phone with a class the only drawback is the camera but everything else makes this phone super sexxy.. love the video and sound quality..if u're thinking of buying it then dont think so much..GO GET IT

I have n5800 since six months
this is a piece of crap
camera quality is bakwas
touch sensivity is also bakwas
web browsing is not good
only sound quality is good
now i m planning to buy samsung spica i5700 in at 11800 INR

I don't know if I'm the only one who experiences this but since I upgraded my firmware from v40 to v50, auto-rotating of the screen has become slower than before. Also, the kinetic scrolling in the Applications is very laggy. I tried re-installing the firmware again, but the issues still remain.
v40 was snappier.

When you copy a text, the info screen that appears that says "Text Copied" lingers on for far too long making the experience slow. You can create a playlist from a folder of songs. If you have 1000 songs in a folder you gotta manually add them one by one. I wonder why they didn't add this rather obvious feature. It's a no-brainer. I've been using this phone for over a year and have used it to it's full, but there are aeras it can have been made better. It's the best among Nokia phones, but not among ALL phones.
