finally updated to v50 n i can say kinetic scrolling is very fast n smooth on menu kinetic scrolling is good but when i go application icon in that i felt due to many software phone get lil bit slow kinetic scrolling due to many software anywayz can anybody tell me is ths verion is hackable or nt coz i installed helloox but seen it doesnt work

[Considering the negatives- freezing very often, non-intuitive and inconsistant UI (compared to other brands like HTC/Sams/LG/apple...) , below 2 points]
I will rate this phone 10/10 if 2 features are integrated in at least the next firmware upgrade.
1)Divx/XVid/DVD(vob) movie player
2)Office tools: Word/excel/ppt/pdf [they say its integrated in V5.0 but it doesnt really work for me. any suggestions?]

1)If the Bluetooth receiver s/w prompt where to save everytime, it is not an option fr me!. coz it wil b more irritating. Anyway, pls let me know from where to get that s/w for free.
2)I havent yet checked if web browser has kinetic scrolling. I will do it today n let u know.
3)Disappointing - it was said in the changelog of V5.0 that QUickOffice(which as most awaited) is integrated. But though i have updated to V5, I am not able to open any word/excel/pdf.[it shows unsupported file as before] What may be wrong? I believe my s/w updare was perfect & normal. No chance of missing some add-on files.
Guys, any workaround for this?

Just upgraded to v50, have to check what are the overall changes but can feel the touch response has improved significantly and yeah there is kinetic scrolling in menu and the music player has a new look to it.

I love this phone i m a mobile freak n really its a gud phone people say 5230 is also gud but believe me don't take that.5800 is best

Hi 5800 is a cool phone and i mean for the price you pay you get a lot but n97 mini is more expensive i know they both run s60 5th but can the n97 mini do more software wise or can the 5800 the same at less the money

updated to v5.0 from v4.0 which was the worst update ever and wat can i say......... Nokia rocks. Finally my 5800 is a true music playerit can finally support album art properly and all the 'million' bugs that were in v4.0 are gone. Nice on Nokia. Just goes to show why we love this phone!!

Yes, V.50.0.005 ! This is it! Love it so much. Nokia, You have done a very good job. Go for Glory Nokia 5800!
Everything is great with it! Do update yours now!
Over-the-air download = approx. 20MB
Software updater (PC) = approx. 128MB
Use OTA is better, as it's faster =)
