got this fone yesterday..
the battery is also long lasting..
firmware updated to v40..
the homescreen is same as the 5530!
it has kinetic scrolling! cool!
i love it! the wifi is fast.. the gps is great!
the homescreen is same as the 5530!
i would recommend this fone rather than 5530, 5230, 5233..

timi zn5, 09 Apr 2010try using your camera at low light.. see for yourself results.. The 5800 is a mainly a music phone, so too much should not be expected from the camera. True that the camera under performs in low light conditions, but it makes up for it by giving it's best in the audio department. All mobiles are like that except for an exceptional few!!!!! :-))

i gave it for 7 times in 2 months i am fed up n asking for replace n manager aggred n he already took before 12 days n give me new one in 2 more days he formated each time i give to service i hate this...

does this 5800 covers H264 and H263? does anyone know if this is so? Also, it sit 434Mhz or 300Mhz?

Im going to buy a phone soon, and would really want to which of the 2 is a better device, The HTC pure or the Nokia 5800? Could somone please help me out here? i need to what the best choice is. Thanks u all!

I brought this phone and i am very happy with the features, camera has a excellent focus, great music features...but, except a couple of things...
1. The gps always have problems (maybe due to where im living)
2. I was expecting more applications and better graphic games...maybe im expecting to much since im comparing this to iphone
but i think this phone overall is a very nice phone at a very decent price.

Wow, 3 months since i bought this, so far no software or any kind of problems at all!!! Audio,video and web browsing had been superb and it still is. Piece of advice: never fill it with unwanted apps, always maintain the no of apps between 40-50,it's good for the 5800 health. This is the ideal phone for the multimedia lovers that seek value for money, wanting to keep things "real" at the same time!!!!!
Cheers nokia, we are waiting for the next express music with symbian3!!!!!!! :-))

hey guys, pls help me.
i just bought this 5800 XpressMusic.. and i am very impressed with the specs.. but for some reason, pressing the camera button doesn't do anything. it is not starting the camera anymore! going to applications, and selecting camera is not working as well. it just shows a loading icon on the top right of the "camera", but nothing is happening. i just had this phone for just a day, and this thing happened..
please help me resolve this..
