I have had this pohone for about 10 Months and I think this is by far the best phone except for the problem with Map which i have never used because it doesn't work

After download Ovi Maps on your 5800, you don't need internet for map, but u can use internet mobile for additional options:
- use Assisted GPS for rapid finding yourdelf with AGPS
- find places (resturants, hotels, etc.) nearby of yourself
- check weather

i bought this phone a month ago, this phone is quite fantastic, it can do anythin i want from it. good performance for the price. the only downside i found about this phone is very cheap looking, too much plastic. and i with this comes with slide up QWERTY keyboard.

There is one thing you should look for while buying. - Turn around the 5800 sealed box and check thoroughly if you can find a tiny sticker[or print] on it saying "no TV out supported....". If it is there pls DONT buy that piece. Thouth menu shows TV out it will not function for sure. I did that. In one store i found that kind of piece & rejected it.
Also, the store guys provide wrong info. I saw in another shop which box was without sticker. I asked the guy, he said "Tv out not supported at all".
But, i still had a small hope. & i bought thinking that i dont have to lose aything.
But, to my surprise it WORKED!. and I hope NOKIA will not fool randomly supporting/ not supporting tv out.
SO, i hope it is available now with all new pieces. Upon that statement, i dont promise that i am 100% right & cant hold to be blamed. It depends on ur luck dude! :-) All the best.

~.. 5800 suckS!... so heavy and it always hang..
~.. So slow especially in playing/watching videos..

i think you should buy Nokia 5800xp than HTC touch 2, Screen Resolution is very important for mobile phone, such u can watch movie, playing the game freely n cooooolllll!!!!

Ones, 29 Mar 2010What do i do?my phone keeps all the time showing that the p... moreok i had the same problem, the new nokias sumtimes have a software gliche, take bak to ur dealer, tell the wats going on, and they will send it away so its memory can b wiped and software updated, make sure u save everything to ur sim or micro sd

The nokia 5800 xpressmusic is by far the best phone ive ever had, it has all the features you could ever need in a phone, plus you can still download apps off ovi store. i highly recommend this phone to all those music lovers out there because along with great feautures, it supplys the best stereo speakers that i hav ever heard from a phone, perfect crisp sound every time and heaps loud aswell. i would def say its a main competitor to the Apple Iphone,and is certainly nokias best phone yet..
