hello PLEASE HELP, i have a nokia 5800xm. My current firmware is v21.0.025 and i'm planning to update it to latest version using my PC. In my phone i have installed some applications.. They are installed in the memory card. My question is, after updating the firmware will i still be able to use those softwares? Or will they be deleted automatically during the update? please reply as soon as possible. Thank you.

hi guys..ive been using this phone since January 2009. Had no any serious issues except for the poor camera quality and slow performance. Now I am having a serious issue where the touch screen doesn't respond accurately. For example when I tap the 'Option' button at the menu, it will select the 'Exit'. Whenever I experience this problem I will be able to correct it back by doin the touch input calibration and it will be okay but only for a short period. Than it will back to the inaccuracy problem again. Does any of the user experience the similar problem? What shall I do to rectify this problem? Thank you..

varsha, 24 Mar 2010hello guyz....don't ever tak dis phone..nothing in dis phon... morehey dear... do format your phone and MMC at least once. then everythg will b ok... and dont forget to install a good anti virus, as may b thers virus in ur bluetooth receivings

Hi all,
Need some advice here...
Why does my phone hang every time my memory card reach 2 GB? Every time I store more than 2 GB, I need to delete some files just to make sure I use below 2GB of space. Do I need to get a brand new memory card? What if the problem still the same with new memory card? Coz I really don't want to waste my time to proceed to Nokia Care again and again and again..
Someone with similar problem kindly share your experience.

The only negative part of this phone as i have experienced is its camera in night or low light condition. Apart from this the cell phone is quite good in terms of price. The video quality is awesome and music quality is also is very good through headset and through speaker and after updating the latest firmware of v40 the cell phone has become more useful as the latest firmware has fixed the bugs and kinetic scrolling has been added.

I think you have to clean up ur phone a little bit... google is your 5800s friend, you can find all kinds of tips to make ur phone faster through google. It's not the phone problem but your own problem

I have been using mine since August 8, 2009 without no problem. Get yourself a Laptop or Desktop computer for saving files. Restrict this gadget for few functions and get the best from it.
All you said about it are not correct about the Nokia 5800.

hello guyz....don't ever tak dis phone..nothing in dis phone..worst camera clarity,must press hard to touch de phone.phone is hanging too much..must wait to open gallery for 30sec...dat too i've used only 1GB..!!

i tried to refresh my music player sevral times, still it doesnt work.
i removed the memory card for sometime re-inserted it, but still doesnt work.....plz help me

I have redeem the PIN. I have downloaded 6 songs upto now. Those were getting downloading to PC. But when I am going to copy those from PC to mobile, it is saying that "you cannot copy".
So how I can use the Music Store voucher, Is the voucher is useless?

al, 24 Mar 2010i have 5800xm but when im downloding like application from ... moreit's mean your sofware version is V.11. Your have to re-install latest software V.30 or above so that you could run any applications download from Ovi Store.
