Well, did u first charge bout 6 to 8 hrs ur phone? and in order for the battery to be full capacity, u need charge it a couple of times, then, u'll see the difference. or maybe u can take a pic of the battery and post the link here. jus to check whether the battery is authentic or not. or if you've bought original, go to the nearest nokia centre and they'll check whether the battery is original or it is faulty.

Well as of now, there's no any special edition as i could recall, maybe it is a gd idea, :-) n97 mini gold was jus released recently, but i dun think its on the market yet. :-)

There's only one version of nokia 5800XM, and d other sister model is Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition. Both the phones now are the same as nokia just released free navigation on all ovi maps. And as for your question, there is only 1 version of the phone, n maybe ur confused with the firmware version. the latest is v40, but some are still running on v31 or even v20. Whateva version of firmware they're using, it does not matter as the 3g as what ur sayin is of no difference in all versions.

bought it last month
1.No keypad nt able to type thru tuch long text,chat
2.No .avi,.doc,.xls,.pdf its useless for me
3.4Hrs poor Battery
4.nt easy to find contacts to call not handy for daily uses
5.takes too long to charge battery3-5Hrs

i bought this phone 3days ago and i have problem with the battery. It only lasts less than 24 hours..although i do nothing with the phone..just some texting..is that normal for this phone..??

I have nokia 5800 and N73 (among others). I've already installed ovi suite so i downloaded pc suite 7.1 for my n73 from the official site. I installed it and now it fu*ked up my laptop. Have to get it repaired. How can an official software do this. I'm so angry.

thanks for the help. unfortunately, v40 isnt available for the nokia 5800 RM-428, IMEI 0577454 yet..=(.
the nokia software updater tells me the latest software for that model is v31.

Then install Nokia Ovisuite a fresh then plug your nokia 5800 express music. everything will be cool n smooth as silk. enjoy.... dr.jo

If not working jet, than checkout the call settings call divert and call barring by resetting them.

Hiya, i havea Nokia 5800 which ive had for over a week now, i got a text message from a friend 2day and when i tryied to send a message back it goes to outbox, now the phone wont make and recieve Calls and text messages even though the phone has full signal on T-Mobile 3G, can anyone help solve this issue?

Guys, i em sure you would like to have Symbian3 preorder if there was a release, even we get it for free as one update..., but here i have for you Symbian3 theme, ringtone theme and ChinaCat fonts...!
The fonts, you can make dir or entry at E:resource/fonts and put it there, you have to restart the phone in order to have efects.
The Symbian3 fells good to have in your phone,

hi if u r unable to download new version for this phn pls logon to nokia.co.uk and then search for the updates. No matter what country u are in u will be able to download the new version
