The question is what to upgrade to after this?? n97 and n97 mini no good and meamo is not for me..It has been an absolute fantastic fone over the year but need to refresh after one year but to what tho??

My first touchscreen, rily satisfied, battery life is great and its easy to use for everything. finally i have a fone capable of browsing the internet, just click links directly, no more using buttons to cycle through 100'eds of links before you find the one you want and then already went 3 links past it... And that is why touchscreen is the only way to go now, buttons is so out.... The calendar says 2010, buying expensive fones with regular keypad now shud no longer be an option for anyone who uses the fone for more than the very basic stuff. For example location parts of a video or song, u can go der directly with touchscreen, just touch or drag the progress bar, u r not limited to FFWD and REV buttons. When trying touchscreen for multimedia/webbrowsing you immediately realize how retarded regular keypads rily are.
5800 deserves some serious minus for the included headset, i dont know how its possible, but it DOES have worse sound than iPod! Must mean someone at Nokia got more hardened earwax than Steve J. I suggest ordering some mid-range Sony earplugs with this fone. I got some high end in-Ear Sony's for mine, still not as good as a real Sony MP3 player but close enough.

free ovi maps for nokia 5800 requires atleast firmware version 31.. i still have version 21.. thats really unfair.. i can't get advantages of version 40 and also i can't get free ovi maps... why nokia not allow all versions to upgrade to version 40???!!!

After upgarding to v40, i cud notice the below performance improvements
1. Touch sensitive has increased
2. Navigation is too quick.
3. Games are launching quite quickly
4. Songs /videos , switching between songs and clips are also very quick.
I cudn't beleive whether it was my old 5800, Too responsive..

can i play mafia wars,street racing,cafe world,farmville and poker from facebook using 5800.does it support full flash support.i also want to know that if it supports USB CHARGING by update or something or does it charge by its desk stand.i am willing to buy this master piece or nokia e52 or n79.

I but mine in August 2009 at US$20.00. Same go for PDF. At present it US$15.00 for the Adobe LE.

experts and friends...i hv 5800 for 2 months,screen and sound is superb. but i hv encounterd a problem:
sometime all my image and video vanish from gallery and when i takeout memory card and re insert it , the photos and video appear again !!! is this a hardware, software,memory card or virus problem.
suggst way to cure it . also smart guard fail to hide mp4 video yet it hides photos !!!
