Hi everyone. I'm from Singapore but i got my 5800 from taiwan. Unfortunately i have the one with the v2.1 and nokia software update and OTA both states its the latest version. Will they be able to update if i go to Nokia service?

FINALLY!!V40 KINETIC SCROLLING!!!!to install software updater in windows 7,just change the compatbility to windows vista or xp,just right click and click on propertise and u will see it

nana kwame (Ghana), 15 Jan 2010can anyone show me how to set up to make it possible to upd... moreMake sure you are online either wifi or connected by cable...go to dial mode and enter *#0000# to see your updated readout then go to options and update from there. You can also use your PC by using the latest PC Suite application clicking on update feature.

I am planning to buy this phone... can any one ... moreThe features in this phone is enormous for its price...although I must admit it needs little bit of fine tuning for Nokia to put everything in this mobile phone..As long as you update its firmware often, you cannot go wrong with this unit...I had mine for 2 months now and mine works like a dandy..I love this phone..better than my 6110 Navigator...Only problem is its GPS compared to the Navigator...you have to buy the navigation license to use it...Sound and video are fantastic as fitting for its XM logo.
The photos are surprisingly average knowing it has that Carl Zeiss lens. Overall, a much better buy than those extravagant units with the same features.

My Nokia 5800 froze solid after using some of the applications installed from the Ovi store...tried switching off, taking battery out, and sim card...even left fone off for several hours...still freezes up when i turn it on...HELP!!!

i cant update my nokia 5800 =(
i used nokia ovi suite 2, NSU v 2.4, the updater from the phone and it says no uptdate available or says that v31 is the latest.. plz help
