Guys...to those of you who already updated to firmware 400, did you noticed camera improvement? I checked out mine today through NSU but not yet available to my 5800 product, so I need to be a little patient. Cheers

good news for all 5800 fans and users, finally the much awaited kinetic scrolling has come to 5800 in the firmware update v40.0.005, i have updated my 5800 with this firmware, the kinetic scrolling is super smooth and fine, they are a lot of stability updates also in this release, comeon guys update and have fun,,,,, thanks to nokia for makin the dream come true .....cheers

firmware 40.0.005 is great. performance has increased a lot. nice upgrade.
In the #0000# options it was not showing available updateds, but connected the phone to the pc and using the update software I was able to install v40. for those unable to update try that way to see if you get your phone updated.

Does the TV Out function returned?
Im planning to buy another Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and I was hoping the TV Out funtion has returned. There are no warnings on the box when I looked at a box awhile ago

i cant update my nokia 5800 ¬¬
i used nsu, ovi, andthe *#0000# and chek for updates there and still i cant update.. it says no software available or something

I tried doing it with the NSU ... morejust install nokia ovi suite in PC with the CD provided with your Nokia 5800 express music box and then update the ovi suite using internet and you will find option "tool" after opening the ovi suite. Connect your nokia 5800 with pc using pc suite cable. In the option "tool" you will find software updater. click the same and the ovi suite check automatically your device firmware and v40 will available. Then update your phone firmware. The file is 120MB. Better using fast internet connect like broadband.

Just got mine yesterday...its really a nice phone...nearly perfect! why say that? There r 2 things that are quite disappointing...1st is the camera,3.2mp is definately not enough for a smartphone...2nd is about the screen,i found its unresponsive sometimes.
