Yes, firmware v40.0.005 is out. I could uptate only with nokia software updater... but there is new homescreen and kinetic scrolling ;)

Remo here again, so basically I'll just bring my phone to nokia, your having the same problem, did you already bring it to your nokia center?

Remo, 13 Jan 2010Im from the Philippines, I have Nokia 5800 since October 20... morehi remo, me too have same problem, sometimes it shows its corrupted, but waiting after a two or three hours its playing songs as usual, one time its showed that its repairing corruption,its seems to repeat often, i think its dealt with memmory card, not any software problem,i saw one person in this forum replaced memmory card due to this problem,its better to consult with nokia care,,,,,,,,

Im from the Philippines, I have Nokia 5800 since October 2009 with 8 gig memory, i have atleast 450 songs on my memory card//when i try playing them in music player than songs are saying corrupted or it is now showing all of my songs even if I refresh my music library, but when i pay them through my memory card they are all playing. Can you help me pls.

just upgraded my 5800 to version V40.0.005, its awesome, kinetic scrolling, more short cuts on the main screen.. perfect!!! Tnx NOKIA!!!

i've been using 5800 for 8 months, got no serious problem with it. one thing buggin me, i'm a fast typest & full screen touchscreen sometimes make me slow. slipped most of times so i plan to change with n85 which has the same spec but better cam (5 mp). before that does anyone has any suggestion should i change to n85 or stay with 5800?

Just moved to Iphone recently..
I owned a 5800 phone for a year and I am not that satisfied..
Experience with Iphone now is very different..
It really is the BEST!!

Hey all, my software version is V 30.0.011 and when i check for a newer versiot it say no new versions to upgrade . Is that true really ?
