Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970go buy 5530 , i have 5800 and when i was looking for a phone to purchase back then my choices were 5530 & 5800, i bought 5800 cause i thought it will have a firmware update like the one in 5530 but it didnt get one, and now i regret buying it, I should have bought 5530, but the phone itself is OK, still liked it but the homescreen is boring i want one like 5530, everythings ok never experienced hangs and restarts no screen problem either like flickering etc, only problem with the phone is that memory card has lots of errors "files on memory card are gone", and also when txting sometimes there's small box shape that appears on the screen with random colors but its not a big deal at all but its weird its not suppose to be there in the first place and by the way battery on my 5800 last 2 days max !

I hope that answers all your questions. I repeat, all people who bought it earlier would hate it, but I bought my phone a month back, and it has NO issues as mentioned, my fone does not go off, it does not hang, use it for basic purposes, put songs, put apps, do NOT overload it.

Hi all. The 13000 priced phone does NOT have TV out.
For all those facing problems, here are the points--

1-- They have updated the software, most of the glitches have been solved.
2-- U can hack ur fone if you want to to install all applications, but really, most of the applications will be installed without hard resetting.
3-- Kinetic Scrolling is not there, but for applications like Nimbuzz, it works fine, plus, for contacts and songs, u can drag the list down effectively.
4-- Those who are saying messagin is a pain, they are wrong, the Full Qwerty Mode is very simple and efficient to type ur msgs if you have average sized hands, on the other hand, if u have large hands, then this phone is not for you.
5-- If you think iphone 3Gs is better, go to this link--http://www.tube5800.com/20-reasons-why-nokia-5800-is-better-than-apple-iphone/
6-- U get 8gb card with the fone, try and keep at least 500-800 MB free, and keep 40+MB free in your phone memory.
7-- Do not put theme effects, and do not use heavy themes, they will slow your phone down.

i bought this phone recently...almost a month now. it has too many glitches to mention. has been into the repair tech several times for software failures! screen twitches and the memory has a direct effect on the ram. it is a total piece of crap and a true waste of my hard earned money. i should never have gotten a nokia in any event...serves me right to have even tried.

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2009yes it has tv out!Hi, guys, when you say "it has TV out" or "does not have", please specify when did you buy & where. And what was the mfg & package date & did the pack contain the AV cable?. All the newses are conflicting. As far as i know -they removed tv out after Sept09 & not giving the cable in the package. But phone menu shows "tv out" somewhere. But somebody pls clarify IF TV OUT WORKS in this case. THat is, DO THE PHONES BOUGHT AFTER Oct09 (CAME WITHOUT TVOUT CABLE) REALLY HAVE THE TVOUT FEATURE WORKING WHEN TRIED WITH A DIFFERENT AV CABLE ????
