i had this phone since 2009 and still...at that time it was the best choice.i still say it is the best phone ever to be made by Nokia (if you take the cost into consideration).
it is not WOW!! but it sure get the job well done..and the good thing is that it still have lots and lots of apps and games coming out for it till now...
it misses 2 things to become legendary though...a graphic ship,multi touch ....

I have this phone its great battery is good but if you whant to buy phone for playing games and some other interesting stuf buy android phone

I am using this phone for 2 years now... It is the best phone I ever owned.... It has GPS when I need to a guide, it can make a video call to call your loves one, the music is fine, and I like it because it have WiFi to enable me to browser internet and donwload any song, video i like.. The camera is also ok... and you can use the LED light as your emergency torch light when you download the Brightlight app from nokia store... What can I say about the phone is, this phone is a complete set for what you need....

This phone rocks.. been using for 2yrs plus.. the phone itself has so many functions.. i hope the next generation nokias (lumia) will hv the same characteristics as this phone.. keep it up.. :-)

It happened to my twice, I tried to hard reset the phone (it erases EVERYTHING, so make a backup of messages, contacts, bookmarks, or any other thing in phone memory) and on one of the times it worked.
The second time it happened I had to:
- Format the memory card
- Hard reset
- (re) update the phone's firmware
- Wait 15 mins after the first boot
- Hard reset
- Wait another 15 mins
- Install maps or any other GPS using application
Hope it helps... just remember to save everything you don't want to lose!
