Hello everybody, i'm very busy at the moment so i can't be very active on your online community. I'just want to say that the new v40 firmware has been released but it will take some days until it gets final aprovement from the high levels of Nokia. You know beaurocracy is a common thing in Nokia so have patience, it could be released in a few hours or on a few days. The fact is that everybody in Nokia is very excited about this firmware and thay expect a great boost in sales.

finally i got my 5800 2day after giving back to nokia care frm last 8 day jst to change internal screen coz it was broken u knw guys they charged me 2500rs for this... =(

ARM CPU clock 480MHz??!!! Another overclock? And why 480Mhz?
N97 have 434MHz and with KS and widget homescreen running smooth.

i juzz wana say dat dis fone iz juzz a wste ... moreHey There, Your Phone hangs because you must have stuffed to much of data in your phone memory so empty it and see the effect and one thing whenever you transfer anything from bluetooth it is stored in your phone memory so change it to memory card through settings...

Hi All,
While i'm talking with this phone my ear and headside around are paining...
i think it will emits more radiation.
pls. confirm..
the next one,
sometimes the phone suddenly shows random lines on the screen and switch off....
pls. confirm on your set having the same issues...?

Hi again,
Sorry for last post, but V40 firmware will be delayed till Q1 next year since there are some minor, but solvable, problems with kinetic scrolling and widget implementation.
Since new firmware version will bring higher ARM CPU clock (480MHz), we are expecting very smooth interface.
Still, selling Nokia 5800 now, would be a big mistake :)

wel the 5800 is very good in everything it can do i min even playing mp4 movies ....bt da gps is realy woring me coz it tanz grin wen it wants to n my licence is xpiring,,,

I have had my fone for about, 3 weeks, it is fine, speakers are really something, love the texting, camera is well ok, video is lovely, there is only 1 problem,
Today, the fone shut down fully and i didnt do any thing, there was so low bat, no prob, it just shut down, it has problems with starting up and shutting, it does the shutting down all the time, and barely turns on propely, i cant start it now, when i turn it on it just say, NOKIA and it doesing do anything.
help

5800xp user, 16 Nov 2009nice mobile but volume is not as good as my old N73 and cam... morelittle correction frnd... N5800 speakers are never beaten by any one b'cas of its stereo effects really damn good... Suerly N73 speakers are somewhat outdated!!!!

I am planning to buy Nokia 5800 XpressMusic as I am very much impressed by the features of this phone. It has good value for money. One of the legendary phones by Nokia!
Its sad to know that it does not play FLV. I have more than 10 GB of videos which are in FLV format. So I need to convert it to mp4. Can someone tell me which phone supports FLV format?

5800 GPS saved my ass on a trip to Atlanta driving in that chaos. Glad I had it.
