i have had this mobile fir 2 months now. it has firmware v31 and 60+ apps installed. works very fine.

payel, 17 Oct 2009hey jonathan have the same prob ...any solution?Apparently its a hardware failure with the screen. I found putting the phone in a warm place helps. if i leave my phone on a desk and it locks then it goes fuzzy. when i leave it in my pocket it stays normal. only thing i can think of is to take the phone to Nokia Care. They replace the screen under warranty.

after using this phone frm last 7 days i can say
GOOD things
(1)nice n unique dispaly
(2)Music is lound
(3)accelerometer work fine n smooth
(4)GPS
(5)web n wifi both r 2good
(6)OSv5
(7)video recording is superb n better then N82
BAD THINGS
(1)while multitasking phone get hang sometime nt always
(2)camera nt as good in compare of 3mp

do this with your handset-
best way to update firmware is *#0000#, then option for the check update and yes to connection wait, everything is automatic then. If a newer version is not available for update means your phone has the latest version it can run no doulbt news about a newer version is out.

I'm using the v30. firmware, good. I see no problems at all except visibility in direct sunlight but try changing the themes to a light backgroud with black font may be better. Compare to 5530 this is surely better, the sreen size alone, needless to mention 3g compatible unless you'r really in to save a few bucks.
