Saheb, 09 Oct 2009Hi I am Using n97.....But i want a secondary phone...I pref... moreN97 and 5800 have same os and platform. Seems you want another touch phone for secondary phone. Why don't try lg cookie or samsung star. Both are cheaper than 5800, have different UI, but not smartphone. But if you're nokia fan, why don't try e series like e52, e55 or e63. It gives you different experience from n series.

Hello, guys.
I need your help so much. My 5800 has a problem. It used to work well with google products such as Google Maps and YouTube when its connected by 3G. I have a unlimited web. But since last week those applications haven't been working. When I open Google Maps it say:
Change Connection
Retry
Exit
So I choose Change connection, after few seconds this thing appears again. Youtube is not working with 3G as well. When i choose Change connection, it doesn't make response. But they're working fine within my home wi-fi. My network is O2 UK. And My firmware is v21. My phone is grey one. And v30 firmware is still not available in here. So these problems is so annoying. I made hard reset and formatted my memory card as well. but still not working. but other applications work fine with 3G. But I dont understand why google maps and utb is not working. Can u guys help me pls. I will be really appreciated. reply me pls. tnx

If you people don't know your around Symbian don't buy this phone, you'll have problems that you won't be able to solve, then simply give it to nokiacare and say Nokia is crap. Better buy java phones which concentrate on the things you want like music or camera. I have faced problems too , like those faced and posted by readers here, but there's nothing that i can't solve so far. So choose wisely according to your abilities and knowledge. Nokia 5800 is a good phone. I love it.

there iz no tvout option in 5800 its written in gsmarina tht 5800 iv tv out option but there iz no tv out

Hello I am Nokia 5800 user. Had to say it is a well built and well priced phone. Just wonderful.
However lack of Kinetic Scrolling... Check out on below link I found on the web from angry Nokia 5800 user.

Hi! I want quickoffice but i know the only way2 get it is to hack my phone or install a signer. I am scared of the reprecussions of hacking and the signings not working. I have both freesigner and mobilesigner. Can please someone please help and let me know of some other way to get this cool application
