Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

Yesterday I have purchased 5800 XM and found that there is no TV out, no pouch cover and no table stand.
Can somebody give me an idea from where I can get bluetooth driver for this mobile for Windows vista?
surprisingly I found 5800 XM navigation edition user guide in my box.

TV Out is very important as you might want to share instantly your videos and photos. It's very important to me. GPS is not important as it's only supported in the main capital of my country - Philippines. Going back to TV Out, yeah, I like it to see it in big screen instantly. If they remove it in the next firmware, I'll not update anymore

i jus got the phone and its really awesome,but disappointed in the starting,tv output and pouch removed sad:((,but the phone is exceptional for its price range,and having a touch phone with awesome symbian s60v5 OS is the best deal in the market

khalil, 21 Sep 2009me and my bf bought the fon 18+ sm megamall nokia outlet an... moreDont worry since u already bought it,try to use it for a while, Im a Nokia loyalist but when it comes to touch screen I choose between Lg KM 900 Arena or the Samsung 8000/8003 Jet their features are almost the same, so this time I did not purchase a Nokia bcus their touch screen phones are still in the early experimental stage, so I choose between Lg & Samsung which are already mature when comes to touch screen phones and with further research, the LG KM 900 Arena win my heart. I just want to share my experience and if u feel what I recommend are a bit expensive I know they both have touch phones that are more friendly to the pocket, Thanks you for your time Khalil.

From what ive read in reliable sites and various forums, this problem has been fixed by Nokia. And what diagnostic instruments did you use to know exactly that its the lcd and not the cpu or ram or any of the circuit components which caused the phone to crash?

cap, 22 Sep 2009I´ve read somewhere that if you pick 'line out' instead of ... moreFunny you should mention that. I chose the line out instead of the headphones when connection my headphones and the sound was indeed much higher!

why do you want to connect to tv anyway. connecting it to pc is quite enough for me. and wonder of wonders the cam improved a lot after i reset/format the phone twice

Vivo, 22 Sep 2009oh my God.. My 5800 hav just crashed.. huhu.. my shortcuts... more@Vivo: Same thing happened to me yesterday (and it scared the hell out of me). You need to do a hard reset with the phone turned off, this is, while the phone is turned off press red button + green button + camera button and holding down all of that turn on the phone. Try to do a backup before that because with the hard reset you will lose all the data (the phone is reseted to factory settings; so the apps installed, the phone book and settings are deleted).

I´ve read somewhere that if you pick 'line out' instead of 'heaphones', the volume of the music is much higher. Does anyone agree?

oh my God.. My 5800 hav just crashed.. huhu..
my shortcuts bar is gone..i can't even open the contacts and dialer/call keys..worst, i can't send SMS to anyone even though I'm registered in an unlimited text promo..Grrr..
I already tried resetting my phone, still, the same problem is encountered..
Does anyone encountered the same problem? Somebody please do help me..!!

Hi, sarathmca2006 i read ur prob. according to me it is the usb prob of the computer u r connecting to as it may be loose or something. try using another usb

hey kanika if u r looking for reliability then this is not the phone for u. it has got the lcd problem and it needs care. even my phone crashed due to the lcd. for more info about this phone do let me know.

guys if u r confused between n 82 and 5800 then go for 5800 as it is far better than n82 in every aspect especially for multimedia but one thing i wud like to clear that it is not a ruf n tuf set it needs care when it comes to its lcd.

In term of text input, e55 dual qwerty based on gsm arena test, gives 15 % faster than numeric keypad. 5800 user some text inputs, which the numeric keypad one with t9 is my favourite input.
Generally, in my opinion 5800 beats e55

Help...the browser on my 5800 is not working ...evrytime i click on Web icon in the Internet options its closing automatically any solution? same way if i click in the Music Store Icon nothing opens...it was working fine a few days back

the only thing i find bad is that it doesnt help u in reading pdfs,i mean u have ta buy the softwareadobe acrobat reader le 2.5 from adobe.com
