Actually you CAN increase clock on a processor by software. I did it all the time on my old desktop pc just by tweaking the BIOS, which is EXACTLY what Nokia did in this case. If not done properly though, an overclock can cause increased power consumption and heat emition. Apparently Nokia did a great job, ´cause neither have compromised the phone´s performance. Much on the contrary.

5800's touch sensitivity has improved! i checked colleague's phone which he bought 2 weeks ago. Big difference between the one i saw in apr 2009 and this one. The firmware updates have helped a lot. Even the plastic cover has improved.

it is good phone, but the battery is weak. When sending multiple text messages and using the internet the phone dies within 6 hours.
Is there another battery for this phone that is powerful and long lasting?
