I have Nokia 5800 XpressMusic since March'09....now.....suddenly for last few days, i am facing a problem with the phone.....suppose I lock the screen and keys of the phone by sliding the side lock-key....then when I unlock it, a problem occurs.....some horizontal or vertical coloured lines are displayed on the screen...that is...the phone's display is totally affected after unlocking......and it becomes normal after locking/unlocking for a while..or by restarting the phone...pls tell me whether this is a hardware or software problem..and how can it be solved??????my s.w. version is V30....
Will this display ptoblem cause any major trouble to the phone....is the plastic screen guard causing this problem?????please HELP me!!!!!!! It's urgent.......has any one else faced this problem????pls reply!!!!!

this 4ne is just amazing ... got just 2 dyz back n m luvin it ryt nw...!!!!
performance much bettr than the da iphone but sound quality isnt dt gud as the iphone...
overall not a bad phone 2 fit !!!!

Actually you CAN increase clock on a processor by software. I did it all the time on my old desktop pc just by tweaking the BIOS, which is EXACTLY what Nokia did in this case. If not done properly though, an overclock can cause increased power consumption and heat emition. Apparently Nokia did a great job, ´cause neither have compromised the phone´s performance. Much on the contrary.

Anonymous, 09 Sep 2009V21 is much faster than V11. v21 updated the clock speed... morehei man did you really know what is clock speed? say your computer processor speed is core 2 duo 2.8 ghz, after update windows xp to vista do you really think it can update your computer speed? ha ha ha ha. no man no way. similar your mobile device. actually clock speed is depending on processor speed. 5800 processor speed is ***. it is not possible to increase/decrease speed after software update. hope u understand.

5800's touch sensitivity has improved! i checked colleague's phone which he bought 2 weeks ago. Big difference between the one i saw in apr 2009 and this one. The firmware updates have helped a lot. Even the plastic cover has improved.
