emo, 20 Aug 2009which phone is better this or nokia 5730XM? i like this bcu... moreI have both,,5800 and 5730,,,if you take away the touch screen,the 5800 falls flat,,,5730 is faster ,,more stable,,opera mini never crashes,,music player works better,,much more refined,but,,,but,,,5800 is touch screen,,and that is all the rage at the moment,, but nokia has fallen way way behind other brands ..5730 is good, but i think samsung ,lg, are better build quality,,and nicer ui..nokia have droped the ball

hi guys,winura any one please help me, i hv got a trouble, i made a backup of my messages only, on memory card, after that the phone restarted and then i tried to restore my messages back into phone memory..the information displayed 'dont use any other application during restore process' after few seconds it was displayed ' restoration complete ' phone will restart and i pressed ok..wen the phone restarted i checked my messages, but there were no messages in my inbox.it was displaying 0 messages :-(:-(, where all my messages hav gone, they r magically disappeared,i repeated the restore process 2 and 3 times again,bt after the phone restarts and i check the messages,there are still no messages in my inbox..pleaseeeee help me guys,where my messages are all gone??..i hav followed the correct procedeure to backup and restore data,hv done nothing before,hvnt installed any software,.my phone memory also shows 0 size of messages..and i hv ensured that i hv set the messaging memory to phone memory.bt my messages are not displaying.where they r gone???how can i restore them back into my phone???...please please help me guys...:-(:-(

I mean with cable connected to PC nokia 5800 can use internet from PC as what my HTC PDA phone did? so like LAN connected PC

Hi People. I recently purchased this phone. I just want to draw you attention to this issue. The phones' casing and the quality of manufacturing is pathetic. I can't believe , the phone actually makes a creaking noise when the touch screen is pressed at certain points. Do all of you guys feel the same ?

Main disadvantages:
* Limited 3rd party software availability
* UI is still immature with somewhat dodgy user experience
* Touchscreen sensitivity not the best in the class
* No smart dialing
* Poor image quality and no GPS geotagging (geotagging is now added via firmware update)
* Touch web browser not quite polished
* No voice-guided navigation license
* No office document editing out-of-the-box
* Doesn't charge off microUSB

i bought my 5800 in Bremen, Germany at PhoneHouse for 349 EUR, a reputable mobile phone, computers and accessories dealer in Europe just one day before its official release in Germany, January 15th. I was enthused about the device; but my first discovery was that the screen was not made of glass and thus was fragile; the speaker had a feedback problem which i had fixed for free at DUG, Nokia Service Center and guess what? 5 months later, i'm now in Nairobi and the screen's gone wack. I'm appalled as I am shocked by Nokia...so guyz plz watch out for all these Nokia experimentation with your 'heads' and 'pockets'!!!
