From the other two options the 5800 has a better camera than the E66. The rest is quite exactly the same apart from the Operating system as the 5800 has the latest. Therefore it depends on,
a) do you want a touch screen phone
b) Do you need a large screen
c) how important to have superb quality music to you
d) how often do you watch videos in your phone
e) do you use the phone strictly for business purposes
and the list goes on...
make your decision depending on your lifestyle.

hi guys. i am planning to buy a new phone and i would need some advice. i have three contenders from nokia symbian phones. which phone should i buy, the 5800, n79 or the e66. currently i have the n82 black and have been using if for about a year. the keypad is quite a bit of a mess otherwise it is a very good device. i need WiFi, GPS but not so much in terms of camera. so pklease help me out here. Cheers.

I'm been using LG Cookie for the past 6 months and switched to 5800XM last week. The user friendliness of 5800XM is far too behind compare to LG Cookie...which i can say LG Cookie is much more simple to use and shorter way to get to some application and usage (an obvious thing is SMS) than 5800XM. Selling off soon to opt for LG Arena or Samsung Jet...
No offence to 5800XM fans, just my opinion...

utpal, 20 Jul 2009Touch screen is not so touchy !This phone is equipped with a "pressure sensitive" touch screen so it might not work up to its standards if someone uses it as its a "heat sensitive" touch screen. You might be using it in an incorrect way. Just my idea. I could be wrong. :)
