hi Friends
I bought this mobile since 4 months back & after that I have problem with the display and now I have changed the display now it is fine but i m planning to sell this and to buy nokia n86 so what do you prefer n86 is best or I should keep nokia 5800 with me I got confuse please help me is nokia n86 is better then 5800 or 5800 is better then N-86 which one you guyz think is Best among this kindly Reply & thanks in advance!

buy and apply a screen protection plastic for the screen and it will last for a long time.

Well i had almost 8 Nokia 5800s and i never experienced any serious probs. Well in the early firmware versions the sound quality is slightly less than the new ones. I'm disappointed about one thing though, recently introduced Nokia 5130 XM has a better sound quality than this phone and i wonder why Nokia did something like that to a phone like this. I hope they will soon release a new firmware which will improve the sound quality of that splendid phone...

Its normal.
Its part of the Update v21.
They call it the breathing light..
You can always disable it..
Go to SETTINGS > PHONE > NOTIFICATION LIGHTS > Standby br.light > Breath Light > On/Off

kevin, 05 Jul 2009they should manek a firmware update, where they fix the rot... moreHey kevin, i have a question.......did you use the 3g on Panama??? and, can you used the wi-fi conection with the phone?? Is because i was reading at phone arena that some versions comes without wi-fi conection, so i was wondering how does it works...

they should manek a firmware update, where they fix the rotaton thing.. the phone only rotates the skin when moved to the left, it would be better if it could be rotated to all directions

I took this to Nokia Care they say it is display problem i got it replaced & now it is perfectly all right. They say it is a common problem.

hi dears i hav nokia 5800.i hav bought few a days ago.after 1 month it has a problem with display.display become blur during incoming calls.i dont know wats problems with it.i hav tried my best by resetting it changing firmware as well but problems perists.kindly help me regagding this.

I loved the phone BUT after just a few weeks, it started giving me trouble. The display gets completely fudged and has lines all over. A few of my other friends have also gone through the same!

This phone rocks any one want to buy a phone like n97 0r iphone i suggest them this Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic i have this phone and it rocks!!!!!!!!!!
