I always suggest to Nok... morei am sure that only a very small percentage is as disappointed with this phone but not me, i love this phone and has no bugs at all. Yours is perhaps a faulty unit and should consult nokia customer care for your inquiries and needed repairs.

do you think it`s worth buying this phone?coz after reading all this reviews i`m confused..whether buy it or not?

Personally i am a big fan of Nokia. I always suggest to Nokia mobile to anybody. Till now i used Nokia phones only. But recently i have taken 5800, i am severely disappointed. I am always having Touch screen problem, it not at all accepts touch request. There is no other alternative input method except touch.
Nokia released this 5800 in hurry with loads of bugs. Generally Nokia is symbol of quality but not this time. 5800 is very good phone but it has lot of issues. Please dont buy this phone if anybody reading this review. Go for any other company if you like Touch. Nokia lost their reputation because of 5800.
It also has lot of issues, you must be great lucky person if your mobile does not show any problems.

arbri, 25 Jun 2009Can some one tell me how to use Secondary Camera ? cant swi... moreYes, You can use secondary camera,but, for that go to Nokia Priority dealer/ service station and get the latest software downloaded free of cost. But, do not forget to take back of your phone data or it will all be lost after upgradation...I too got this problem, but now I get the secondary cam option in the list.

I just bought the 5800 XpressMusic and I have been so happy about my choice ever since! It is elegant and very easy to use. I like the dictionary application. The graphics and the size is big enough to be held comfortably...I don't regret buying the phone. Concerning too many applications that are open simulteneously, and it freezes...if a PC has such a problem, how much more a mobile phone...we should not push any gadget to the limit!

I have this phone and it's great.
Just a few bugs here and there in this version of symbian, but they should be fixed soon.

Anonymous, 27 Jun 2009You shouldn't BE texting while driving!!Its not an issue for where I live mate. what I'm saying is, its not as easy as using a phone with a tangible keypad. there are certain moments in life you might think that having a keypad is quite convenient...

Absolutely it is a nice cell phone I ever used but I have a question my software version is v11.0.009 and I try to update it by *#0000# but I got the msg that ther is no update avaliable !!!!
Nokia updater which was installed on my labtop failed to recognize the cell phone
can any body helps me on that

Go to,
Menu > Settings > Application Manager > Installation Settings >
Software Installation > All
Online Certificate Check > Off
Default web address > None
if these settings are in order just set your phones date 6 to 12 months back and install the application. You'll be just fine...
