sanny, 09 Jun 2009i noticed that whenever i open the player and start to play... moreHi, sunny concerning the battery it is the bad short-coming of the nokia 5800 I just knew that when I went to the phone stores yesterday to buy one then they told me that the nokia 5800 has a very agressive problem of energie almost you can not finish your day!
It is a production faluire!

this phone works great 4 me.
i've been using it for about 5 month and it rocks.updated it to the latest firmware with no prioblem,bugs or anything
never let me down in anything EXCEPT the camera images.kinda irritating but its cool anyway.
the 8gb is way tooooo nice for me.i've just used 3gb until now.haha.the screen is great for me,not having any problem with it EXCEPT my buggy fingerprint on it.
seriously,i love this phone.i got no problem with this phone.as for me,i would rate it 9.9/10 as it is truely a PHONE for me.

Its a uncivilized way to remove cover every time to take a photo.the phone cover will be damage.

Does anybody knows if this phone has a built-in SIP client??? is it capable to work with VoIP???

Greetings everyone,
Regarding those people complaining about the camera, try to shot after removing the back cover (the battery cover) and you'll experience a noticeable difference in the photo quality as I did.
P.S.: This works without any change in the camera settings.

for those experiencing grreat photo quality, can you share us your camera settings (i.e. contrast, ISO, sharpness, exposure, etc.)? Sharing the video settings would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

May i know from which country are you?
Cos here in the Philippines, you dont have to pay extra for it, as long as you have a 3G compatible phone, in which 5800 is capable with, Video Call is just charged just like the normal call by our Service Provider. (Which is Php6.00/min).
And also, Internet charge depends on your service provider also. We have two schemes here in the Phils. You can browse per kbps or by time browsing which is more affordable and convenient than the per kbps.

a good fone but camera result is very poor might of that 3.2 mp but camera image is very low quality

how long does 5800 to take fully chraged? and does it have a beep sound when it is fully charge? plse answer me thank you and do overcharging really affects your battery?
