Nice to have update even after three years of using. Good to see periodic update for my tube.

I am one of the lucky ones who was able to get a hold of this unit and for almost three years now, I find it hard to believe it is the most pratical and reliable smartphone one can have regardless of its slow processor. Years ahead, this unit will become a classic like the first Mac.

Even after 3 years of its release i cant find a lot of phones which perform much better than 5800. This is a bombshell in our hands at a comfortable cost... Only minus point is that the NOKIA is not at all providing some good firmware updates instead of lite corrections here and there, which is not at all helping in any performance boom . they are just sticking with the old firmware itself basically.

've used it n i loved it, but i'd recommend Nokia 5230...same look but bit beta than 5800...

Almost bought W995 last time. (believe its a good phone too) but I've found 5800 is cheaper in my place. 5800xm help me a lot during my overseas /holiday trip. Capturing photos, videos. Taking notes, music, video, maps, even simple audiovideo presentation etc etc. .. I'll keep this set for secondary media player, gaming , navigation... Cheerss

Stop camparing 5800 with x8 bro.both are different.5800 totally rocks.nokia's offically best music phone.And best music phone of today after S.E W995.5800 also perfect for gaming.only minus point is it doesnt have n-gage gaming.but still its an awesomest phone ever

update firmware modifications is out in ( www.symbianlatino.com ) cpu in firmware modif up to 600 mhz...... awesome......

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2011X8 dude. 5800 in useless peace of hardware with no ecosystem. X8 too is a very old technology for android version1.6. Even upgradable to android2.1 its still not worth it in todays android world.
