First of all, I am a hard user, I do exp... moreIf you can name me one phone in the market right now that can do the following that the 5800 xm can do for the price that you can get the 5800, then you have yourself a valid argument:
wifi, gps (garmin), touch screen, proper internet surfing, 8 gb memory, loud (very) speaker.
I am just mentioning the main plus points. Because no one will take the time to read long nonsensical posts. Just realize that it is a best seller for a reason. Simple formula, cheap price, tons of features. If you really need to whine, then go ahead jump on the iphone bandwagon or spend a fortune and go for the idou (but it is still using s60v5)

Is the nokia ovi map beta available for 5800???
I checked the site but it says only s60v3 fp1 & fp2. No s60v5. Its so weird coz it says that the beta version is introduced as a preview of the nokia maps3 preloaded on the n97. Yet its not available for 5800.
I m confused.

To those who complain about having PHOTOS and VIDEOS in the SAME FOLDER, follow these steps....
1. Download & install 'photo browser' from nokia betalabs.
2. Go to menu-options-organise, then drag your gallery folder and put it in applictn folder.
3. Now go to application folder and drag the 'photo browser' icon and the 'video center' icon in the root folder.
BANG!!! Now whenever you open your menu, you will have photo browser icon for fotos and video center icon for videos. Who needs the gallery anyways, you will need it only for editing/transfering your fotos/videos.
And the foto browsing software has some HEAVY graphics. You all will love it. Learn to customise your fone. After all symbian is all about customising your stuff.

can anyone tell me about d camera clarity of 5800??? because i get lots of distortion(or)coloured lines like patterns for photos captured by in dim light and wen ever i use flash in my nokia 5800.. is this d case in all nokia 5800s or only in mine???

Brett, 22 May 2009The only reason I am still doubtful in purchasing this hand... more...there is a small install file on http://symbianworld.org/freeware-downloads/ and I it will allow you to play divX but the speed of the movie is not that good. The movies plays with hickups. What I do is convert the movie to 3gp file and it plays fine.

OK I got this phone with me ... but I need to know something which is bothering me. The phone is working fine no problems atall but whenever I touch any option or feature, it vibrates. Now, I asked the shop owner he said this is a feature by Nokia. Now, I need to know if its really a feature or a problem? and its is how can I stop it.
Please let me know.
