Nokia 5.3 - User opinions and reviews

Finally but I'm in Australia and I still haven't received the Android 11 update. Nokia please hurry as my Nokia 5.3 is starting to lag and want better Android features as I always had on my Samsung galaxy 7 Edge. Nokia should perhaps include antivirus in their Android updates or in some updates at least.

Dear Nokia, do you know why I didn't buy one Nokia? Well, in a few words, I as a huge amount of people don't really care about 4k screen resolution on a tiny screen, or crappy ultrawide cam unless it has some decent quality, so full hd or even hd screen works most of the time, if I can see it on sunshine, at least to answer calls.., but no gyro and no compass? really, one of best features of a smart phone is navigation, and not having a gyro and compass it just makes a little too hard if the arrow points north when in the reality is south and so on, so make it default in all phones, compass and gyroscope should not be in all phones, I just changed my Motorola because of that and bought a Xiaomi, Xiaomi starts to have all this features at half the price other companies do!!

My 6.1 plus had the same issues. Got unusually hot sitting idle and crashed whenever I played whatsapp video statuses or youtube videos, and a plethora of other issues Didn't last a year and i guess newer models aren't very reliable either

Set it to 10 seconds and switch off screen on when release and enable when screen is locked options. After this the screen blank issue in calls will go away.

When calling on whatsapp, for few seconds the app gets hanged and then suddenly the timer of call goes from 1 sec to 7 secs. As soon as I make call or recieve a call, the screen goes black. Its really shitty. I didnt talk to nokia care I just used Proximity Sensor Screen off (pocket mode) app by argon Dev. It has green colour icon. My screen black issue has now gone atleast with this jugaad fix.

Did you pla... moreI don`t play games, I use the phone for calls, messages, taxi app, viber, anydesk, some wifi network related apps and remote terminal. Don`t have any bloatware stuff. Phone gets hot in pocket doing nothing, like really hot.
