Great phone. I needed one without a camera because cameras are forbidden on my new job. Compared to my SE T630 the 6021 has better bleutooth reception an a bit better network reception. Only minus is the sound quality of the speaker, the sound is not so clear as my SE and there is a high hiss at high volume (anoying for those with good ears) the max volume is also at the low side. Lucky there is a decent handsfree mode. Battery is very good. For my use around 5 days my SE lasted 4 days.

It is a very nice and full featured phone but I have a broblem. There is a noise in the headphone. It is not the connection. It is always there. I do not know if my phone has a problem. Nokia told me there is no problem. Do any one else has a problem like this?

For a week now I am a proud owner of a 6021 and I can honestly say that it is one of the best models out there. Its value is much bigger than I expected for a phone of such price. I am not talking here about the ratio "absolute number of features"/"price", but the ratio "useful features"/"price".
First of all, it has excellent connectivity (especially the bluetooth).
Second, the battery lasts long - it is now its fifth day since the first charging, the counter says I have talked a little more than an hour, and I still have four bars (out of seven). Bearing in mind that the battery reaches its full potentials in a few charge cycles, I am very satisfied with it.
Third, the menu is very intuitive and very easy to use, as is with all Nokia phones. I admit that am a Nokia fan, and my migration path is 5110 - 3210 - 6150 - 6021. I didn't need the manual at all :)
Fourth, the phone has style. Very simple and elegant design and yet very comfortable. Generally, it has an expensive look and feel.
The only thing is the memory issue - Nokia could add a little more capacity, which I personally need for Java applications, but anyway I have already deleted all unnecessary pics and themes and for now there is a plenty of storage.
And phil - about the mass sms erasing - of course it can do it, I haven't heard of a Nokia phone that CANNOT do it since the 3210.

Does the 6021 have group delete of sms? This is the most important feature for me.

like in the majority of the posts here, i am giving this 6021 a warm welcome as i am one of those who do not need and want the cam, mp3 and other unnecessary features for serious use. My work does not also allow camera on jobsite but the connectivity and the speaker phone are much needed. Thanks nokia.

Hi all,
Bought a new 6021 yesterday.
I am not a mobile geek but cant stop being happy over its good features.
Must say its a nice phone. Elegent , strong body, good voice and sound quality, large storage capacity, and very good wireless support via bluetooth/infrared.
A real no nonsense mobile phone with no useless unnecessary gizmos.
Thanks

Thank you for your Suggestions, I think I will go for Nokia 6021 'coz I think I don't even hv enough time to play around with the phone.
However, I think I will wait for sometime b'coz this phone was launched last week only in India and they are selling it for Rs.7900 at Nokia Priority Centres and RS.7800 at other Shops.
I will wait for sometime till the rates drop a bit and then will think abt buying this one.
Any other Suggestions are most Welcome !!
Thank you.

This is a better phone than any Sonyericsson or Sansung. First of all, only Nokias suppurt the 3G EDGE data speeds of 110 to 236kbps(In GSM platform). n about the 6021 this phone has a stable firmware n realayable conectivity over bluetooth n IrDA ports, the SEs have good connectivity speeds with BT but they wont support EDGE(then what is the need of high speed connection?). if u r looking for a great phone with high data transfer capabilities go for Nokia. If u r looking for a great mechine with gizmos like a good digital camera, MP3 n all go for SE or samsung

Hey GUYS !
Lots and Lots of Arguing on Nokia 6021 and Quite Knowledgable too.
However, I am doing a lot of research alomost 5-6 hrs a Day online as well as In the Indian Market looking for a Good Bluetooth Phone with which I can run Internet using my Airtel GPRS very cheap around Rs.100 and the set budget for the phone is around Rs.7500 with Good Features and OBVIOUSLY STRONG BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY.
I have narrowed down my research on SE T610 or SE T630 or Nokia 6021 as Nokia 6021 promises Strong Blutooth and Futuristic EDGE connectivity -services for which are definitely gonna get cheap in India. I personally don't like the Outlook of SE T630 but Can Anyone please tell me abt the Bluetooth connectivity on SE T610 phone? How much speed does It Offer? I am expecting around 115kbps that is what one usually get on other SE or Nokia 3660 etc phones.
Please guide me on this? and Also people who hv bought Nokia 6021, Please throw some more light on Its prominent features like Ringtones? and what does PUSH TALK Button mean? and What abt Bluetooth connectivity? How strong is It? Thank You.

OK OK!
The "1" at the end of 6021 means "no camera". Please do some research before you make a twat of yourself, asking about the camera. This phone is designed for people who don't want extra crap on a phone and judging by the posts here, lots of people don't want the extras.

I have my 6021 for a week now and I love it. The joystick is easier to work with then the weird navigation button from the 6230 for example. I downloaded a lot of apps, tones and made my own wallpapers and it all works great. But the phone has no Symbian app functionality. It's a perfect phone for any serious caller who doesn want any stupid features like camera and such.
