Since I updated my phone 1 day after I bought it, I had no problems, most of the users complain about the update because they didn't format their device before the update. the problem is in app code incompatibility (I THINK!).
First I connected my phone to my computer trhu a USB cable, and configured it to work with nokia suite.
I went on the update section chose to update to FP2, but when downloading the phone software, my computer restarts, so I was afraid that something like that would happen while installing the downloaded software, which would kill my phone. So, I did the update Over The Air ( using the cellphone) ( Menu> Software Update> and then select Fp2 ). i had no problems during the update.
Now, about hacking:
---Symbian ( or Nokia Belle ) is an old platform (but by no means, inefficient and powerless) but since the Nokia N97 fiasco, it got a bad reputation, and started to get outdated because of the lack of DEVELOPMENT! from Nokia, letting platforms like Android and IOS, get ahead. In 2010 nokia released Symbian 3, wich was supposed to change the course of the platform, but it wasn't good enough, and so, developers started abandoning the development of symbian apps, which led to fewer apps some outdadted apps for the platform. That only got worse with the announcement that nokia would discontinue Symbian, and supporting only until 2016, opting for Windows Phone as the platform for their future programs.
BUT DON'T BE FOOLED!
---Symbian has got five new updates since the first release of symbian 3, updates which dramaticaly changed the appearance, behavior, functionality and the whole working process of the platform for better, it significantly only lacks in apps now.
That is why I hacked my phone. So that I could install unsigned aplications( someported from other platforms).

DEAR tv out by COMPOSITE AV CABLE is basic option in Nokia Smartphones like N8,701,700,5800 etc but 603 not support this option. I m glad to listen that you worked it with usb option to your DIGITAL LCD TV supporting usb. BUT dear every body have no such a digital tvs. Bcoz every tv not comes with usb option.
And the Nokia Composite av option will work with all type tvs, Sorry for poor english.
@Ria it not support TV OUT OPTION VIA COMPOSITE CABLES.
BUT USB PEN DRIVE will works on this

hmm, the phone came with belle Fp1, but when it first launched, it was shipping with Nokia Belle ( The first iteration of the belle os) and then came Fp1 and consequently, Fp2.

Camera quality is very annoying me in low light or indoors due to lack of Flash.
BUT camera is very amazing me in outdoor in the day.
720p hd video recording and 5 mp image is wonderful in daylight.
The touch of this IPS LCD display is wonderful.
Gaming experience also ok.
DOLBY DIGITAL OPTION is very good in headphones.
ONE THING bad is that its camera is not auto focus so near pictures (micro picture ) of documents or text on any thing is not good.
Nfc is also good option.
USB OTG is good. IT can read all usb sticks, card readers ,mouse etc.
ONE THING again bad that it have no tv out option .
I think its enough for me. OVER ALL its good handset for Calling, social applications, games,playing hd films..

Today i will clear to all buddies that ANDRIOD OS V4.2 requires QUAD PROCESSOR (minimum DUAL PROCESSOR) and 4 GB ROM must. 1 GB RAM also must. There is no reality in Rabin news that Nokia 603 also get Android os in future bcoz it is impossible. If Rabin has any clue than tell us.
NOW talk on 603.
Nokia 603 is much featured device in less price. GOOD MULTITASKING due to 512 mb Ram,1 Ghz processor and 1gb ROM.
Battery life is not satisfying same like other Smartphones.
It supports Hd videos upto 720p in FLV,MP4,WMV,AVI and RV but MKV only upto 360p(i think ).
Loudspeaker sound is not bad but also not good.
