          "Gonz"

Mine has the option of WAP but keeps coming up with the message (Subscribe to GPRS first)

O2 said they were sending me the settings last Monday & there was no probs but it didn't come through

got to www.kondor.co.uk for handset manager software downloads. That's what I did & aint to bothered about lack of WAP or GPRS now :^D

I finally got my phone yesterday, and was a bit disappointed with the screen display, but overall it is a good little phone with all your basic features. One thing I am having difficulty with is how to get an mp3 as a ringtone. I cant find anyting in the user guide. Can anyone tell me how I can get an mp3 song from my computer, onto my phone for use as a ringtone?

Thumbs up to nokia on this flip phone.

so 'johnny 1989' and 'gonz' your saying trying to talk to someone on the other end, its difficult for you to hear them?

and because its not GPRS or WAP capable its still got stuff on the phone so you can transfer images etc on to the computer right?

                Hi Johnny 1989,

Cant really hear the person I talk to on the other line, really. I'm always out and I get calls all the time so the ear volume is really important to me. This phone is not GPRS or WAP capable. And for those who cant change from list menu to grid menu, just go to menu, go to settings, go to display settings, then look for menu view. Press select and you would be able to choose from list to grid menu. Have fun! :)

A pity I was told that Nokia has no intention to sell anymore white sets for 6101 at the moment in Singapore and we just have to be contented with the black ones. Though a few white sets have been seen around the shops (those without phone plans) but they are really rare. If you are lucky, you may be able to get one. I just ordered myself a black one at quite a good price, though I really love the white one actually. Well, a compromise of colour for price. I can't complain much...

                      "Gonz"

I noticed this too it's a total bugger to listen to someone sometimes.

However Mobile Choice (A Mobile phone magazine here in the UK) gave it 4 out of 5 so it can't be that bad.

Still waiting for Picture message / GPRS settings but have got handset manager software so can download pictures to PC :^D

People, listen. No matter how loud you adjust the ear volume, you can't hear the person you are talking to on the other end. Its so totally frustrating.

What's with the antenna? All nokia phone have no antenna except for this one. And as if they haven't learned, the soon to be released 6060, which is also a clampshell type phone, also have an antenna. And worse, if you don't want to answer a incoming call, you still have to open the phone and quickly press the red button in order to reject the call otherwise the phone will connect automatically. For Samsung phone, you just press the volume button found on the side of the phone if you want to reject a call which is more convenient. This phone is not selling well here in the Philippine. it's big compared to other clamp type phone namely samsung. Nokia still has a long way to go when it comes to clampshell phone. Better go back to the drwaing board.

It's tri-band but sadly no bluetooth, hence the cheap price on this model. Nice model, prolly gonna get it for my mum =)

I really love this handset. It's so compact, I've been able to squeeze it into alot of tight places.

                                      Can anyone help out ?
Can you use the voice recorder to record your own voice and use it as a ringtone?
Just like the way that can be done with nokia 6170 and 7270.
                                      thanks.
