Thanks for the input Voda on the GPS, my brother has 1 and he agrees with what you say to the T.I was weighing up getting the 6110, or getting a cheaper phone with a seperate GPS unit, but having it all in 1 seems better to me, less to carry around.

In SA, the phone is available for a fee from Nashua mobile, but free direct from VodaShop.

        Wondering,

I actually got this phone last week and i'm from California. I got the phone from out of the country so i had to install the route66 software to my PC and pay and download a california map. cost about 60 dollars. Installation was smooth and GPS works good so far. Not the best GPS i've used but it gets the job done. Locking on to the GPS satalites takes about a minute or so, and locks on pretty well. very impressive for a cellphone. i'm glad i bought it.

I work for vodafone uk and have had this handset for just under 2 months now. the handset is in my opinnion the best handset available on the uk market today. there are no problems at all with the gps system such as delaying instructions as i have travelled almost 2000 miles in the last month using this feature and i havent got lost once. the sound quality is far superior to any other nokia available and better than most sony's. all in all its a superb phone and i would highly recomend it to anyone.

Hi I have heard all good things about this phone, but I have also heard a couple of negative thing about the phones with built in GPS units, is it true that there is often a delay, and this means that if you are using it for navigation while driving, it tells you to take a turn, but too late, causing you to miss the turn-off?

Can someone confirm this myth for me?

I am pushing to get this phone, but this may influence my decision.

            Thanks ppl.

I don't know if it has already been posted, but here is my question. What is the quality of the music player? Is it comparable to products like Sony Ericsson?

                      Hi Eigger,
I find the slider on the 6110 very solid and smooth, Ive had the N95 and the difference between the two with the sliders is that I find the 6110 better, it does not wobble and is much smoother then the N95. Even though the 6110 has a 2 megapixel camera, I find iy alot quicker to take shots then the 5 pixel camera on the N95, the N95 takes for ever to take a shot. Thats my opion anyhows but for the slider part, I believe the 6110 is better. Craig

To N6110n users! How is the sliding mechanism so far? Does it wobble much compared to N95 or N6280/6288?

Is anyone on here using this phone and GPS capabilities in the States? I am considering getting this phone but I live in the US, and it sounds like most people who are using it are in places outside of US.

                          Thanks!

I like this phone very much. I'm using its navigator around Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But i'm facing one problem about this phone. Its always hang. sometimes, when i try to read SMS, its suddenly hang and i can't do anything even to off it. the last way to read my SMS is to pull out the battery. and i on it back. sometimes when i try to call somebody, i can't hear otherside voice.

Does anyone know how can I turn on the ledlight without I having to use the camera, like a SE K750.

                              Thanks

First of all... you'll need to back-up files from your 512MB card to your computer. From there just transfer the whole thing which you back-up in your computer to your new 2GB card.
(Note: you'll need to enable "show all files" in your computer or else some hidden files will not get copied)

does this phone require internet so that GPS works?
