Hi Guys
I live in SA and have just bouth one of these babes. I believe you get charged quite a bundle when you use the navigator is that true???

Hi Peeps.. I bought the this Nokia 6110 Navigator and absolutly love it, I love it over the N95 by far but I'm not here to judge between the ywo ;-) My question is this.. I'm in Australia and the Australian version I have of this phone comes with all the GPS maps and some data files built into the 512mb memory card, so if I take the memory card out and replace it with my 2gb card the GPS does not work properly because of the files on the 512mb card, so I read the manual & in states that I can backup files from memory card back onto phone & vise versa through applications, memory card menu, so I tried this and the mobile isn't giving me the option to backup/copy from memory card to phone but it gives me the option to backup/copy from phone to memory card. The option for backup/copy from memory card to phone isn't in the the menu/options like it just dosen't exist. Can anyone please advise in what I have to do so I can have my GPS working properly and have my 2gb card in the phone. Will be very thankful peeps..Craig

Best phone ever. had to get used to no touch screen and smaller screen but fair trade off on the features it as. the nokia 7710 was a great phone but it has no support any more.
Nokia is doing great things with there phones but still lagging in the Battery life department

bought this phone 3 weeks ago here in Jakarta Indonesia. overall the speed performance is superb, much faster than my old 6670. but the keypad is uncomfortable, hard, and too small, the volume button is also not responsive, you have to press it strongly to operate the button.
it crashed once (I don't know why) and in two different occasions, the date didn't change to the current date when I turn it on in the morning (I turn the phone off when I sleep at night), but until now, it doesn't happen again, and hopefully never ever happen again. otherwise i'll dump this phone and start to find other phone :D.
the GPS works really good, connect to the satellite in 1-2 minutes if you're inside your car in the middle of the street or open area. but in walking mode, it took me 4-5 minutes to connect to the satellite. and yes, it drains the battery so quick when you operate the GPS, better make sure you have a car charger in your car.
the stereo speaker is also superb, a little bit better than the stereo speaker in my friend's 6233 I think, but keep in mind, when you apply 3D ringtones, it won't make the ringtone better, only worse. better to keep the original setting and do not use the 3D effect.
the phone also works fine as a 3G modem, connection is fast and consistent, but it also depend on your network provider. video call is a little bit awkward though, you get a low picture and sound quality. I don't know, maybe there's something wrong with my setting/network or maybe this phone really is not a good phone to use for video call.
I'd give 7.5 in 10 scale for this phone. I love the way it make me look cool when I use the phone in public area, the overall design style is great.

I just got this phone thru SIMPLUS and I could not be happier!!! They have the best service and give the best fullt equiped phones!!!! SIMPLUS and M8Telecom are the best companies to get this phone from!!!

I bought this mobile 7 weeks ago, and I am telling you: This mobile is fantastic, I live in Saudi Arabia and it works with me in every city in the kingdom. The navigation is the voice gaudiness is great.

love this phone but mine had 15 days crackling sound every time made a call and on 16th day phone crashed completely. cannot use at all.have had to have it changed.but over all am going to replace with same phone as i loved everything about it. hope 2nd one that arrives is in sound order.

By which I mean the 6120 Classic runs the same OS and hardware, so it should have similar speed/stability to the 6110. I realize there's no GPS or better maps.

I managed to get my hands on a demo unit at the Nokia store here in Bangkok yesterday. The map coverage for Thailand is atrocious. There is no coverage at all outside of BKK and the POI list within BKK is rather limited. Also the lack of Intersection search ability is really a dealbreaker for many of the cities I've lived or traveled to. It's a shame really. I was ready to buy this set because of the speed and apparent stability of FP1 on this hardware, but I'm just not willing to pay the same amount as someone in another country who gets significantly more map data than the Thai release. Guess I have to keep waiting for the 6120 classic

this is a great phone! i live in usa texas and it works really well gps is pretty nice! i purchased the liscense key and unlocked the maps for route 66

@: Quality Control Issues:
I haven't experienced any HARDWARE issues, but I can imagine that SOFTWARE problems would have stopped distribution..
I have had a lot of crashes until the very recent x.58 software update.
