i have just purchased the 6110 and the thing is it does not navigate me to the neariest bar or brottle.is there a setting to go threw../....

GPS Nav on both N95 and 6110 is simply an accessory that never works ! Get an proper GPS device instead,GARMIN,TOMTOM or whichever..GPS on mobile phone is a bad joke folks...

on tuesday i got the white 6110 on a vodafone cap plan,ive used the phone for pretty much only a day and a half and ive found the back cover mainly to be a bit creaky sounding and possibly a bit lose any one else had this problem? when typing a text message its feels loose and makes a creaking noise. Someone please tell me if they had similar problems & weather i should take the phone back & it replaced?

You have to buy several maps to cover all of the US. At least 3, but maybe 5... I haven't looked close enough.

Cheper than GPS unit.
I don't know haw muche the maps in other contries but in denmark it coms with a complet skandinavian map and by ekspirence i know that most danes dosen't ned more than that. and i live of selling GPS and Phone Solutions and for companyes the Nokia 6110 Navigator is the best and less ekspensiv at present acording to danish prices

@ CHEAPER THAN GPS UNITS: Are you nuts? Maybe if you stay within the region of the free map you receive, but when you start buying maps the price skyrockets.

Now i have tried the Nokia 6110 Navigator and i only lack one thing in the danish sales packet, it is a way to set it up in your car, but i like the price in denmark it cost the same as a normal GPS and it is better than the GPS systems in that price range so all in all it is the best and most useful mobile phone i have ever had

Sound is great. Kicks the N73 and even Walkman series!
3D sound is a bit silly though. Makes it sound strange.
As standard though best sounding phone I have heard.
Slide is ok too. E65 slide has heaps of probs but not this one!
Buy one!!!

I dont know about in other countries but in Australia navigation is free. The phone comes automatically set up to use internal GPS and GPRS to find a position. If you untick the GPRS option in Positoning settings it will only use the internal GPS. This costs absolutely nothing and it only takes about 10 seconds longer than using GPS and GPRS. Try it!
Awesome phone! I have this and a Samsung D900 and they are both unreal. Nav works perfectly for me with the phone holder. Would suggest it to anyone!

first download this and install it in your 6110

The smart2go software must be use at least once before you can connect the 6110 to the pc.
Navigation is not free. viewing the map and locating your current position is free.

Looking at buying this phone tomorrow could someone please tell me what the sound quality is like,is it reasonably loud considering the speakers are at the back of the phone? Also it being a slider phone any one who has had it for quite awhile has the slide become loose or creaky? Please your feedback would be appreciated.

Mine just hung... again... try to answer a call and it freezes.
I really do like the phone (only for the GPS) but it is a frustrating bugger.

the 6110 nav is a mad phone! ive had no problems with it and the gps is awesome. the only problem is battery life. they run out quickly with the gps running.

I've used this phone for 2 month and happy with it. My 6110 didn't come with any map. Now I use nokia maps to navigate and locate my location. It's free and way better than route 66. Just download smart2go software into 6110 and download Nokia maps into pc to update map in the 6110.

very cute design in pearl white. Really enjoy the high speed to surfing the internet... new experience with GPS...
Price reasonable....
